They look so great and the boxes with an appropriate prayer are a great addition
I didn't know what to expect from this, quality-wise, and was delighted at how stinkin' cute they are. Every little Mary looks great. This is made of PVC, a very durable material and a good choice for a little figurine like this. The colors pop. They're vibrant. Our Lady's dress is bright red, and her mantle is green with yellow stars. In the actual image of Our Lady of Guadalupe as it appears on Saint Juan Diego's tilma (cloak), her dress is more rose colored with gold floral designs, and her mantle is an attractive blue, which makes sense because it seems to depict s starry sky. I actually would have preferred more true-to-life colors. However, a shift in colors toward the red and green of the Mexican flag is also pretty common to see in depictions of this sacred image, dear to all the people of Mexico.The set also includes a little paper box for every little doll, with an appropriate and reverent prayer, and crinkly stuff which would need to be cut up with scissors probably to use it as stuffing inside the boxes. Some assembly is required to make use of the boxes and stuffing material.My Catholic parish is actually called "Our Lady of Guadalupe" and her feast day on December 12th is a huge deal for us. We have tons of children who would love these cute and tiny figurines, as the feelings toward Our Lady of Guadalupe are quite universal and strong. But the adults are also going to love them. Fifty of these may not be enough for how many people are going to be charmed by these figurines and want one to take home, or keep in their purse, car, or school backpack.Ver másVer menos

These figurines are precious. They're small and cartoonish. The material feels a little rubbery and has a bit of weight to it.The figurines do seem to stand on their own without falling over.The package comes with small craft boxes and some red filling that feels like shredded ribbons. The boxes have a prayer printed on them.All of the pieces are separate, so if you intend to gift them, there's some work required to box them up. I found it easiest to get the filing into the boxes if I took a small amount and rolled it into a ball in my hands first before placing it.Ver másVer menos
