Pricey but Worth It
I am 67 years old. I have been meticulous with my skin care since my mid- to late-30s so I have very few fine lines (fine or otherwise). My primary concern at the moment are the lines under my eyes and around my mouth, which have deepened after losing weight. I previously used a high-frequency ultrasound device (Arbonne) that I loved, but I wanted to update. I looked at a variety of beauty devices before deciding to purchase the Medicube Booster Pro X2 7-IN-1 Glow Beauty Device. After it arrived, and I unboxed it, the device seemed very complicated to use. Maybe it's just me, but I needed to watch a few You Tube videos to truly understand how to use the device. I also accessed the online user manual, which I found very helpful. I used the device for the first time last night after applying my alternate night retinol products. I first used the Air Shot Mode on level 1 after cleansing and on dry skin. I lightly swept my face with the edge of the device head as directed. I felt light pricks on my skin. Not uncomfortable at all. You can go up to level 6 and I will definitely work up to that. It was awkward handling the device properly without accidentally touching the mode button and changing modes. I applied my retinol products, finishing with a moisturizing serum and used the Radiance Booster Mode next. In this mode, you roll the device gently in a circular motion over the product to be absorbed. I used level 2. I next used the Derma Shot Mode and then finished with the Line MC Mode. I used level 3 in both modes. You do have to hold the device at a particular angle in each mode to get the desired effect. Continued use should improve the ability to hold the device at the proper angle. Each mode is timed by the device, and the device verbally informs you how much time as passed. It does take time to use this device, depending on the number of modes utilized and the minutes used for each mode. It was my expectation that I would not see benefit (if at all) for approximately 2 months based on others' comments. Imagine my surprise and utter delight when I looked in the mirror this morning. The lines under my eyes and around my mouth were improved. How is that even possible after one use?!? I am stunned. I cannot recommend this device enough. What a fantastic addition to my skin care regimen. My only regret? I should have taken a before photo!Ver másVer menos
