MacBook Pro M5 Pro 14" is OUTSTANDING!! nothing else comes close!
I am a audio/recording engineer and music producer who needed the best solution to begin my mobile studio in order to link with artists who otherwise wouldn't be able to come to me at my home studio, and this EXACTLY what I needed!! I been a PC guy for decades, I typically stuck to PC's that had decent specs without costing too much, but time and time again I would face slowdowns after a while.... that changed New Years Day 2026, I got my first Mac (mini) and that machine changed everything, but as I mentioned earlier, I needed something I could move around with, so last week I purchased this MacBook Pro M5 Pro 14" and let me tell you.... just OUTSTANDING!! This laptop is extremely fast, zippy, blows anything else I used out of the water, no more bottlenecks or issues like I used to have after a while, its portable enough and doesn't weigh much, the wifi connectivity is the best I have seen from any computer, and while its not charging, the battery lasts all day and then some!! To me, there is no other laptop in the world that can compete, and trust me, I used many of them over the years... **additional note: as far as the specs are concerned, 24 GB of memory is the perfect "sweet spot", the way the architecture of Apple computers are, its really like having 32/36 GB RAM on a PC laptop, I record a lot of vocals with massive plugin chains WHILE recording and during the mixing/mastering stages, and it doesn't even come close to its limits! and I mean nowhere NEAR!! I also believe that 24 GB memory would be able to handle some video production as well (key word, SOME, now if you are heavy in video, you might want to expand to 32/36/48/64 GB of memory), the M5 Pro is just amazing, you would have to see for yourself, and 1 TB of storage is PLENTY to start with, you can create whatever your heart desires, the SSD in these Macs are faster than anything that tries to compete with it, seriously, its unreal, lastly, with the current RAM and SSD crisis, honestly, the cost of these MacBooks now is absolutely worth it, especially if you shop on Amazon and get the lowest prices possible, instead of shopping directly with Apple, I saved over $200 going this route, just like me, when you finally step into the world of Macs, I promise you won't want to ever go back to PC's ever again, not even for gaming!!!
