Perfect gym alternative

Great Alternative for Actual Ropes
If you’ve ever wanted the shoulder-shredding intensity of battle ropes but don't have a large area for actual ropes, these Poonoo Ropeless Battle Ropes are a total game-changer. These are essentially weighted handles with springs at the end with round with two ring weights at the ends to adjust for weight that mimic the centripetal force of an actual rope.The build: The handles have a heavy duty rubber grip with a cord to loop your hand around so they don't go flying when you do the exercise. I wasn't sure what battle ropes were but I love exercise equipment so I thought I'd give them a try. I looked up a video to see the benefits of using them.About these battle ropes, they are lighter than I expected, but I followed the video about how to use them to make it a cardio workout. Each rope is one long spring with weights at one end and a handle at the other. The handle is really soft and easy to grip. The safety strap on one of the battle ropes broke after only using it a few times, so I'm taking off one star for that. I super glued it but don't know if it will last. Not a huge deal, but annoying. A new product should last years not days. I like the soft gray color and the paint on the spring is great. It's not scuffed or anything. Kids love using these and leaving them out tempts people to pick them up and do a little workout, which is a good thing.Just be careful if you have toddlers. They are light enough for them to pick up but they could hurt someone or break something swinging these around b/c they're really fun to swing around. My youngest is now 8 so I don't worry about it. We all know how to use these for a genuine workout, but I had toddlers for many years so I still notice these things.These are great for apartments and small workout areas. Great for dorms and maybe even nursing homes. Great to take camping or trips so you can still workout. Great for all ages, I'd say ages 8-98. Way more challenging than expected
I bought these thinking they would be a fun way to add a little cardio at home without dragging out a bunch of workout equipment, and wow...they're actually a great workout. After just a couple of minutes my shoulders, arms, and core were definitely feeling it. I really like that there's no anchor point needed, so I can use them in the garage, backyard, or even in the living room if I move a few things out of the way. The weighted balls keep the ropes moving smoothly once you get into a rhythm, and the handles have a comfortable grip that doesn't feel slippery when your hands start sweating. They're lightweight enough to toss in a gym bag or suitcase too, which is nice if you travel. I watched a couple of quick videos online before using them and picked it up pretty fast. Just keep in mind they do take a little coordination at first, especially if you've never used battle ropes before. Once you get the motion down, it's honestly a fun workout that gets your heart rate up fast without needing a ton of space.
