Solid pickup that saved my floor space
I've been using this adjustable set for about a month now and it's held up better than I expected. The twist to change weight thing actually works like they say, I can go from a warmup weight up to something heavier in a couple seconds without having to stop and fumble with pins. My apartment is tiny so replacing a whole rack with one compact unit was the main reason I grabbed it, and that part alone has been worth it. The lock feels secure once you get the hang of lining it up right, no wobbly plates or weird rattling when I'm doing presses or curls. The grip is comfortable enough for longer sets and my hands don't slip even when I get sweaty. My one gripe is that the base it sits in is kind of bulky and the plates make a clunky sound when you set it down, so I wouldn't want to be dropping it repeatedly on a hard floor without a mat under it. Also took me a few tries to get comfortable with the twist mechanism, you have to make sure it's fully seated before lifting or it won't grab the plates you want. Once you learn that quirk it's smooth. Overall a good buy for home training and I've been reaching for it almost daily.Ver másVer menos
