Perfect!
I really like these earbuds. I have tried several others and these have surpassed them. They are very comfortable to wear all days I don't even notice they are on. I like how easy they switch from left to right as I wear one at a time for all day listening. A plus is they connect easily to multiple devices allowing me to switch between phone and tablet making them perfect for flying. Extra is the wireless charging feature that others don't have. Definitely worth the price. FYI I purchased the Wowwat for SHOKZ OpenDots ONE Case that works great protecting them.Ver másVer menos

Most comfortable yet.
I love the fit and function of these. They are the only true wireless headphones that stay on. I mostly listen to audio books, books, the music I've listened to sounds good. Maybe not the thumping younger people may want, but good for me.

Great, but not all that
I wanted to love these so badly. But unfortunately they suffer from problems I faced in ear clips a quarter of the price: putting them in the case does not guarantee they start charging or even disconnect form your device. They even rattle around in the case so if I put them in the case and set them down, if the case isn't sitting upright then they're likely to reconnect to my phone and cut out my audio. I've had $50 clips do this too, but I've also had others never have this issue. On top of that, the battery life is not all that incredible given competitors are offering 10+ hours from the clips alone. The only other complaint I have is that the battery low tone and the other audio indicator tones really need another notch of volume lower than the app offers. If you are someone who likes to wear these style clips to bed, you better do it from a full charge because I've had the battery low alert wake me up quite a few times already. On the positive side, the dust and water resistance are great, there are plenty of remapping options for gestures and touch controls, the drop detection and auto pause when removing the clips are really nice, and they are comfortable to wear with nice materials that don't irritate my skin. I just don't know if all of that makes it worth the price given so many competitiors are offering clips in the $50-120 range that really hold their own.Ver másVer menos

Impressive sound, but also expensive
I was actually impressed by the level of sound and in particular the level of bass these put out. They would get genuinely close to a 1st gen pair of airpod pros. The bass was deep enough and you could definitely tell there is sub-bass to these. However, I believe these have a bias towards mids/vocals so it can sound a bit tinny at times.Comfort-wise, these did feel slightly awkward at first try, but i found myself forgetting that i had these on after about 20 minutes. They are light enough that you can go on a walk and not feel them. I do feel them slightly more when running as they bounce up and down my ear when I do so.Battery life has also been really good so far. I don't go more than 3 hours with these on continuously and they have not cut out on me once, then they go back into their charger until I use them again. I'd say they'd last me about 2 weeks without charging at my rate.I really liked these pair of earbuds... but when I tried on the OpenDots Airs for almost half the price and 85% of the quaity, I did end up returning these in favor of those for the cost!Ver másVer menos

Good sound and great if you wear glasses!!
Initial review, cause I just got them. I tried these because I often wear glasses and the over the ear earbuds I recently got share the same space over the ear with glasses. So HUGE positive if you wear glasses is that these are easy to put on/remove and not mess with your glasses while you do it. Sound really good! And are very light. I could easily wear these as long as the battery lasts no prob. Smaller battery and won't last as long as the over the ears. And no noise canceling feature since they are not in the ear canal. Haven't hiked/biked with them yet. But did some quick exercises with them, jumped around and stuff and they were great.LOVE that the case is nice and small. BUT, it doesn't stay shut very securely/strongly. So I fear a drop would have your earbuds flying and case damage?? So got a case with a lock, which then makes the case much larger. So that's a bummer. But it's a case with a carabiner so I guess it just won't go in my pocket now anyway. (the over the ears have a HUGE case, bla. The samsung case wasn't too big, but Bud's pro 2 so it's like a "ball" in your pocket and was annoying so got a carabiner case for that one too)I'd say the opendots will be my every day's now. I will try this case, but may go to a silicone case or no case so it can fit in the pocket better? (we'll see if they become my hike/bike go to??) My samsung in the ears I've kept for sporting events or something where I want really good noise canceling. (even just taking a break from the noise is nice now and then) The over the ear Anker soundcore's for when I need long time use, some noise cancelation but still being fully aware like work/study things, and currently they are my go to for hike/bike. (but they nearly always fall out when I pull my helmet off and that's annoying, so maybe the open dots will replace them for that??)LOL... I thought the opendots were bone conductive cause Shokz... (which I now realize was utterly stupid because they are clipped to the cartilage of your ear... DUH...) Anyway, I primarily ordered these because they are out of the way from the glasses. BUT, I also thought, "bone conductive, so just put ear plugs in" = and you'd have sound canceling when you wanted it too...??? :) :) :)Ver másVer menos

Opendots 2 vs. Opendots Air
I spent a good amount of time trying out open ear earbuds and I landed on these two. After comparing both, the Opendots 2 are the superior choice if you value sound quality and comfort. Opendots Air are also great and will do the job, and competitive against other open ear earbuds but when you compare them against each other Opendots 2 is the winner in both categories.Structurally, the arches are different connecting the battery and the speaker. OD2s have a tigher fold than the OD Air and feels more secure. Also, I didn't think the silicon coating on the OD2 would matter much but they help with all day comfort. The OD Air is plastic and after 1/2 a day with them on, my ears start to feel it.One thing that both of them have that I never thought I needed was that the earbuds are left and right interchangable. When holding my kid in one arm, it is a lifesaver being able to take the earbud out of one ear and put it in the other without having to reach into my pocket. One thing to note is that in the Shokz app, the OD2 has more gesture options than the OD Air. Not a huge deal for some but I like having more customization options.Ver másVer menos
