Best BHA toner I have used and a great value from a RELIABLE brand
I have used Paula's Choice for a long time with good results, but when I went on HRT, my skin began breaking out around my t-zone and around my nose. Ick. The Cerave toner is more viscous than any toner I've used -feels slightly oily, but in a good way - like it has STAYING power. It helps clear my skin while calming it and protecting it. I have seen a huge difference with my acne, scars & pores! My skin is very sensitive with my eczema and I have had no reactions.

Not for oily skin
I am not sure how this product is exfoliating because it leaves a slimy residue on my skin. My face feels oily after using it, which is counterproductive to buying a product to help due reduce it.

Works!
I recently had a water softener installed in my home. It changed the water pH and caused my skin to breakout. In conjunction with this toner, I'm also using CeraVe salicylic face wash. The only complaint I have is its thick viscosity. Otherwise, this product truly works!!!Ver másVer menos

Disappointed
I was okay with this product because I use everything else CeraVe and neverrrr have issues! Ever! Including the Salicylic acid face wash/masks and serums. But this? I do not understand the hype. I have mostly oily/combination skin, moderate acne prone and super reactive skin. Well...... this products with a cotton pad feels like you are sweeping literal grease all over your skin. I let it dry to give it a chance but it left a greasy cast on my skin (mind you I did not have any other product on my skin) so I washed it off. Next morning, I had a breakout. So, there must be some sort of oil or ingredient they are not listing. This is horrible for oily reactive skin.Ver másVer menos
