TYMO 4.0 Hair Blow Dryer Brush is a Life-Saver!
I purchased the “TYMO AIRBEAM Blow Dryer Brush” on July 26th. I am so thrilled with the results! I was a little skeptical at first but it completely surprised me after just one use. It dried and straightened my shoulder-length hair in only 15 to 20 minutes. The brush is wonderfully compact and lightweight providing just the right amount of heat to add beautiful volume effortlessly.I've definitely realized there's a bit of a learning curve with this TYMO AIRBEAM Blow Dryer Brush! I just need to practice a little more patience and work with smaller sections. I'm actually really looking forward to practicing more so I can become an absolute pro at styling my hair!The design is wonderful, featuring two different types of bristles: one side with gentle black bristles for smooth blow drying that stays comfortably cool and the other side is perfect for straightening.Overall, this is such a well-made, high-quality styling tool. If you are looking for speed, beauty, and wonderful hair protection all in one, this amazing brush is a dream come true. Blown Away!
It takes a lot for me to write a glowing review of anything, and the Tymo Airbeam totally warrants it. I was previously using a Chi hot air brush with paddle and round brush attachments (an exclusive kit from Ulta). It took a long time to dry my hair, and the round brushes pulled my hair badly and blew a lot of hot air onto my neck. I’d be so sweaty afterward. It never gave me that “salon blowout” look – I could never get the waves out of my hair (especially at the crown) and make it smooth. I shopped for something that I hoped would glide through my hair easier and work faster, and that didn’t feel as big and clunky as some of the other popular models with oval-shaped heads. I decided to give this a try and I kid you not, my jaw dropped after my first use. I felt like someone in one of those Instagram ads. I’m no professional, but I was able to get a smooth, bouncy blowout on my first try. I have very thick shoulder length hair, and what used to take 30 minutes (and never get fully dry at the roots) took me 15 minutes with far superior results. (I always wrap my hair in a microfiber towel to get as much moisture out before drying.) Whatever magic is in this technology, it doesn’t blow as hot yet dries my hair faster and smooths out the waves. And it stays that way for multiple days, even in the summer heat. My only minor gripes are: 1) the twist mechanism to turn it on and off is hard to grip and turn. Maybe it will loosen up a bit over time. Some texture on that part would be helpful for easier gripping. And 2) although I love the compact size, the handle could be just a little longer. I find I end up covering up the air vent at the bottom with my hand when trying to reach the back of my head. Maybe with practice it will get easier. This feels like a high quality product, and makes my Chi dryer look like a cheap toy. Super impressed!Ver másVer menos

Good brush for bouncy results
Ok… so Tymo got me again. I’ve really been trying hard not to purchase items that are similar to previous purchases. For reference I am an African American with 4A type curly natural hair. I really love using my hot tools blow dry styler and was hesitant to try this one but I did.Pros: It’s sleeker and has dual sides of the styling comb which helps get to your roots much better. I recommend starting at the bottom of your curly hair using the bristle side. The side with the smaller teeth will get stuck in curls and pull your hair out. Once the brush has somewhat dried the hair you can flip it to the other side which aids in getting the hair much straighter while drying. My hair had a lot of bounce and body and I must say it was so soft to the touch. The texture was light and smooth which I loved. It also does dry the hair pretty fast.Cons: While I do like that it does dry the hair quickly I do wish it had more heat settings. It really only has two and a cool setting. For the price I would like more options like a medium heat setting. Because of where the buttons are I also accidentally turned it off a few times while using it. I did not find it that much lighter in weight than my other blow dry brush. I also feel like the price on this could be around $50 vs the current pricing.Overall it is a good tool. I did not get the curling effect using this dryer that I have seen in videos. This brush will give you bouncy soft volume for sure but still went in after with my flat iron for a straighter look. Amazing
I just tried this hair dryer. I have fine, wavy hair that has to be styled - either blown out or done curly - otherwise it's a frizzy mess. Most of the time I just blow it out. I torched my hair with the Revlon dryer brush a several years ago and have been looking for cooler, less damaging options since then. First I switched to the Dyson. That was OK but my hair was still frizzy with the brush attachments and I never use the curler attachments. After a while I switched to a L'ange dryer brush and the plain old L'ange dryer. I would rough dry my hair with the traditional dryer then blow it out wiht the brush. Those made my hair smoother than the Dyson, but the L'ange gets very hot and it takes a while to dry. Recently, I started seeing ads for this dryer, which claimed to dry your hair faster with less heat. I have fine hair. It's not super long, but it goes past my shoulders. This thing dried my hair completely in less than 10 minutes. I know this because I timed it with my watch. That time includes rough drying for about 2-3 minutes then blowing it out, all with the TYMO brush. My hair is so soft. It's really smooth and frizz-free. The only time my hair looks and feels like this is when I leave the salon. I purchased this thing thinking I would try it and return it if it wasn't that good, but it is. Also, it's smaller and lighter than the L'ange dryer brush. If you have concerns about damaging your hair with heat this is a solid option and it's much quicker than any other dryer I have used.Ver másVer menos

No Heat Damage
I bought this for my 11-year-old daughter because she wanted an easier way to dry and straighten her hair without exposing it to excessive heat. We were both so impressed! The cool setting worked incredibly well, and she was able to dry her hair while leaving it smooth and straight without worrying about heat damage.It’s lightweight, easy for her to hold, and makes getting ready so much faster. I love that she can achieve great results while being kinder to her hair. Don’t be fooled by influencers!
OK, so if you’re anything like me, you saw this trending all over TikTok about how great this blow dryer brush is. Well, it will definitely dry your hair if you were looking for any type of volume or flow in your hair this is not the brush for that. In fact, I found quite a few flaws between this brush and my other two blow dryer brushes that I own that were cheaper and more lightweight and did a way better job.The difference with this brush is some of the bristles are rubber so it will catch tiny strands of your hair and pull them.While, this blow dryer does seem to dry your hair faster. The air comes out of very long slits, so it is blowing your hair all over the place before you can even manage which sections you want to blow dry in a certain style.The circular style on and off switch is not easy to twist. There is not enough space on the top for you to hold it so if you want to blow dry your hair and roll it to give it any type of volume you have to use only one hand you cannot use two hands as you would like a curling iron or with other blow dryer brushes.This brush is heavier than my wavy talk & my Laenge brush. So your arms will get tired.It does not come with any type of storage cover sleeve or anything which my other toothbrushes which were half the price came with a protective sleeve and the other a protective hardcover plastic so that the bristles don’t get ruined when you store it. It doesn’t come with hair clips. It doesn’t come with anything. You’re just getting the brush and that’s it.You cannot change out the heads. I have a short style haircut, and I could not for the life of make it any type of volume out of this brush. Yes, it dried my hair fast, but it also dried it very straight and flat.I just believe there are much better options out there especially for a $70 price tag in this economy.
