So good!
Installed in a 2014 Toyota HILUX. Fit in the dash with no issues. Carplay speed of achieving connection: Okay, takes about 30 seconds from turning on the car. Android Auto speed of achieving connection: Also okay, takes about 30 seconds from turning on the car. Display: bright enough to combat sunlight, but color washes out a bit, and there is some glare. UI responsiveness: Quite poor. But it's affordable and upgrades the look of the car enough that it may be excusable for your needs. DSP/sound quality: Average, not as good as stock unit, muddier with less defined treble and more chaotic mids. The sound adjustments are buried in menus and too complex to use while driving for quick adjustments. Installation: easy, included all harnesses, and Youtube tutorials for the car aren't too hard to follow. Ownership duration: Installed for over a month, works great so far. Overall: it's probably good enough for most people.Ver másVer menos

Excellent Upgrade for an Aging Platform
The Hilux is known for reliability, but the factory infotainment system definitely shows its age. This radio helps bridge that gap by adding modern connectivity and convenience features while maintaining a clean appearance.Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto functioned well and made navigation much easier than relying on a phone mount. The Android operating system also provides flexibility that many traditional head units simply don't offer. The touchscreen is responsive, and the included audio controls allow enough adjustment to noticeably improve overall sound quality. I especially appreciated the backup camera support and steering wheel control integration.Compared to older Android radios I've tested, this unit feels more refined and polished.Pros:Modern connectivityResponsive displayImproved sound controlsBackup camera compatibilityGood valueCons:Installation varies by vehicle configurationConclusion:A solid modernization upgrade that adds functionality without sacrificing practicality.Ver másVer menos

Big Upgrade for Older Hilux Fast, Modern, and Easy to Use
This 5GHz WiFi car stereo for the Toyota Hilux 2005 is a great upgrade for an older vehicle. The touchscreen is large, bright, and responsive, making it much easier to control music, navigation, and apps compared to the original radio.Performance feels smooth and modern. Apps load quickly, and switching between functions is easy without noticeable lag. The 5GHz WiFi connection helps keep streaming and online navigation stable, which is a big improvement over older systems.Bluetooth connects quickly for both calls and music, and the sound quality is clear with better control over audio settings. It really improves the overall driving experience, especially for long trips or daily commuting.I also like that it supports navigation apps and backup camera input, which adds convenience and safety. The screen is bright enough to see clearly during the day, and the interface is user-friendly.Installation was fairly straightforward for a compatible Hilux model, and it fits well into the dashboard once installed, giving the interior a much more modern look.Overall, this is a solid upgrade for anyone wanting to modernize their Toyota Hilux. It adds speed, connectivity, and useful features that make driving more enjoyable.Ver másVer menos

Great quality!
I recently installed a touchscreen Bluetooth car radio in my Toyota Hilux, and it’s easily one of the best upgrades I’ve made to the truck.Right out of the box, the unit felt solid and well-built—not cheap or flimsy like some aftermarket options. The touchscreen is responsive and smooth, and it’s easy to use even while on the road. I was a bit concerned about glare in bright sunlight, but the display actually holds up really well and stays clear during the day.Bluetooth connectivity has been flawless so far. It pairs quickly with my phone every time I start the Hilux, and I haven’t had any drops or connection issues. Calls are clear, and the built-in mic does a good job picking up my voice without too much background noise. Streaming music is just as reliable, and the sound quality is a big improvement over the stock system. What I like most is how intuitive everything feels. Switching between music, calls, and settings is straightforward, and I barely needed the manual to get started. It also works well with my apps for music and navigation, which makes daily driving and longer trips a lot more enjoyable.Installation took a little patience, mostly due to the Hilux dash setup, but once it was done, it looked almost factory-installed—clean, neat, and not out of place at all.Overall, this touchscreen Bluetooth radio really modernizes the Hilux without making things complicated. It’s a practical upgrade that improves both convenience and audio quality, and it’s been reliable every day since I installed it. Definitely worth it if you’re still running the original head unit.Ver másVer menos

Wireless Car Stereo Upgrade That Makes an Older Toyota Feel Newer
This 5GHz WiFi car stereo is a big upgrade for older Toyota Hilux models because it adds wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and a much more modern touchscreen interface. The screen is responsive and makes navigation, calls, and music much easier to manage while driving. Once installed, the dash feels years newer. Wireless connection was convenient, audio output was clear, and app switching felt smooth enough for daily use. Like most aftermarket radios, wiring and fitment matter, but once set up correctly it is a very useful upgrade.Ver másVer menos

Big Upgrade in Features and Modern Tech
I installed this 9” touchscreen stereo in a Toyota Hilux, and it completely modernized the interior. The screen is bright and responsive, and the 1080P display makes everything look sharp—whether you’re using navigation, music apps, or the backup camera. 🚗💡Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connect quickly and stay stable, especially on the 5GHz WiFi, which helps everything run smoother with less lag. The interface is easy to navigate, and having built-in GPS along with EQ controls really adds to the overall experience. 👍Installation was straightforward for a vehicle-specific unit, and it integrates well with steering wheel controls. The included backup camera is a nice bonus and provides a clear image when reversing.Overall, this is a huge upgrade over stock. Packed with features, easy to use, and makes driving a lot more enjoyable—definitely a 5-star head unit especially with how best it was packed in the box!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Ver másVer menos
