Outstanding 72" TCL fan with a low profile down rod
My TCL's 72" ceiling fan purchase. I have hung a lot of ceiling fans, this one was impressive to install very thoughtful design. I appreciated the quality of the parts and the packaging. There are quick connections provided for the wiring between the fan motor/lighting wires and the control module that sits on top of the fan. Note: if the control module beeps on a 1sec cadence when powered up, the quick connect wire harness is not installed correctly. Easy fix, make sure the wire harnesses are actually connected to the module. There are only three wire nut connections required to make "Line, Neutral, and Ground".I used the shipping box, and the bottom piece of Styrofoam to assist with assembly. Placed the fan motor upside down in the box after step 8 (in the instructions), to add the fan blades. Placed the middle fastener with red washer first, but not fully tightened, then the other two screws, then tighten them all. I filled out the fan blades on opposite side to maintain fan balance and room for me to stand in-between the blades. I turned the fan right side up and hung the whole assembly after all the blades were installed. Added the electrical connections and tested before buttoning it all up with the covers provided for a clean look.I was a little concerned about installing a 8 blade ceiling fan in a bedroom, but it looks wonderful.I was impressed with how light it was even fully assembled. Even on the lowest speed setting the fan is moving a nice amount of air. It is so quiet, I can't hear it running with my ear right up to the motor. Very impressive! It is perfectly balanced, no need to mess with the balancing kit, no wobble at all. The light provides good coverage, and has a nice neat low profile. One of the reasons we chose this fan was a short drop rod for lower ceilings. It perfect in the bedroom, so quiet, and moves a lot of air on the lowest speed. Love this fan.Ver másVer menos
