Great motherboard with one lone issue
So, thus far, this motherboard is great. I got it on a great deal (just over 160$ after taxes/fees) and for a white b850 board, it's cheaper than a lot of dark b850 boards.the top M.2 slot was easy to access. the button for the GPU slot is nice, and it's a standard ATX board, so you don't need to remove any standoffs in a regular sized case. with a decently sized GPU (I'm running a quicksilver 9070xt) the bottom 2 PCIE slots are somewhat accessible.after installing windows, was easily able to overclock my RAM to 6000mt.The manual was easily understandable. it made connecting the necessary plugs/fans to the right spot, easy.now, this could be because of my GPU (it has about 300 watts of power at it's peak) but, the motherboard has a bottom 8-pin PCIE plug called "PCIE_PWR" that was NECESSARY for my GPU to be detected by my computer. Again, it could just be my beefy GPU requiring it, so I'm not going to deduct a star from it. Otherwise though, this motherboard has been nice and functional.I would also like to take the time to show off a website that lists this motherboard, and plenty more, in a much more understandable manner. it's called mobomaps . com, and you just need to type in "B850 gaming plus max wifi" for this board to show up. it will show the PCIE lanes & their capacities, rear IO, and plenty, plenty more technical stuff.Ver másVer menos
