Small form factor, big performance, impressive build quality
I've always wanted a steamer wand, mainly for use in my bathroom for those times in the morning when I notice that my shirt or slacks could use a touch-up before work. Getting out the ironing board and iron from the laundry room is a non-starter, so more often than not, I would just go about the day with a crease here or wrinkle there.Well, I decided it was time to take care of the wrinkle removal and pick up one of these steamer wands. I wanted one that would get the wrinkles out, fit in my vanity drawers, not take up too much space, have a sufficient cord length to reach where I hang my clothes for the day, and be safe and reliable.When the Reewit Travel Steamer arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at its build quality. At a very economical price, I had expected that they might have to skimp here or there on materials and was slightly concerned that could impact safety. Fortunately, there's no concern here as the build quality is top notch, it has a reasonable weight and feels like it will last a long time. The water capacity is very sufficient for handling those quick steams of today's clothes, and it couldn't be easier to use.After filling the reservoir with water and locking it in place, I was surprised at how quickly the unit heated up for use. I spent the next 5-10 minutes steaming out the wrinkles from my shirt and slacks for the day and looked a little sharper that morning. It produces a generous amount of steam, and I actually used it a little as an iron which is a great additional feature that I didn't intend on using, but now I am happy that I have that flexibility.Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and I'm happy I finally picked up a quick use, easy to store steamer/iron for those mornings when I need a little help getting the wrinkles out.Ver másVer menos
