  Gorgeous moon light!

  Ok, first things first, I have to mention that this moon shaped light with the cracked sphere looks too much like the top of Sailor Moon's Moon Stick, and I love it!This light is soooo pretty! The cracks give off a very cool shadow effect on the walls, as well as the cutout designs on the moon piece. The dimmer switch goes from completely off to very bright. I tend to keep it on the dimmer side, and part of the reason is that it is constantly on. I can see where the sensor is, but it doesn't seem to work. I have it in a bathroom, and even when the light on there is on, this light stays on too. I tried a different room with different lighting, same thing.The other downside is that there doesn't seem to be a way to replace the LED light. I know LED lights can last for quite some time, depending on different factors, but I'm not sure how long this particular one will last, especially with the sensor not working, so it is always on. So yeah, it looks like when it's dead, it's dead. Guess I'll just enjoy it while it lasts.Ver másVer menos

  Very pretty nightlights with dimmer and cool shadow effect

  I ordered this to replace another light that I had in my hall, which was just a plain design.I really like these night lights! The coolest thing, I think, is how they cast shadows that give off a tree-branch look. It’s unique and pretty, and gives that feeling of a bright moon shining through an autumn tree and into your window.Besides the cool shadow effect, I like that it’s dimmable, has a sensor, and seems well made. There’s a slider on the side where you can turn the brightness up depending on your preference. It provides much more light than my old nightlight, so I usually keep mine around the halfway point.I keep one of these nightlights in my bathroom, and one in the hallway. Both have sensors so that they kick on when it’s dark. It’s dark enough in the bathroom for this light to be on whenever the doors are shut and main light isn’t on. In the hallway, it has been consistent at kicking on at night. So, the sensor has worked well in my experience.The last point that I like about this light is that it seems made well. The plug is sturdy in the wall and not wobbly. I also like that the moon design is metal and should break mealy if dropped.Overall, it’s a great night lights. If you like the design and the way it makes shadows, you should love this nightlight.Ver másVer menos

  Cute but don’t offer lighting

  Of the 2 pack, neither of these came on even when completely dark.

  Nice but has a couple issues

  The Pros: This moon night light looks and feels well made as far as materials and craftsmanship. It’s not a heavy, clunky metal so it’s pretty light. The adjustable brightness has quite a wide range between the lowest and highest settings. (See the pictures labeled “1” and “2” for the lowest and highest brightness respectively.) I especially like the crackle glass and the light pattern that the metal design projects on the wall.The Cons: The biggest problem is that the light sensor that is supposed to automatically turn the light on at dusk and off at dawn either isn’t working or isn’t sensitive enough. When I turned the hall light on, which is located pretty close to where the night light was plugged in, it did not shut off. (See picture labeled “3”) All the other night lights I have shut off when that hall light is on. The instructions make no mention of the “Dusk to Dawn Sensor” (operation, troubleshooting, etc.) other than to mention that it’s a feature. The other thing I don’t care for is that they used a clear bulb in the glass sphere. Consequently, you can see the bulb filaments and the light is rather harsh. I wish they either would have used a frosted bulb or put some sort of “buffer” around the bulb to filter the light source and make it a softer glow. Unfortunately, I won’t be using this night light due to the light sensor not working.Ver másVer menos

  The-Man-in-the-Moon Lives here, and You'll See the Witch too

  What's this about "two lights"? Hmmm. I didn't get two lights, only one. Was I gypped? I wonder.This night light is so interesting, I have never seen anything like it before. It's a stylized version of the man-in-the-moon vibes, and is just missing a little man in this moon or his face in the crackle glass globe. If you stare at this night light while on, you can see him, and the cheese too. Seriously.The design of the plastic moon cut-outs cast eerie shadows against the hallway wall when I use this. I have seen a witch flying across those shadows on particularly dark nights. The man-in-the-moon is visible at dusk, but the witch comes out at midnight. Seriously.This nightlight is plenty bright for the walk down the hallway. Don't doubt it, or you'll hurt the man-in-the-moon's feelings. Too bright, and he'd be blinded. You have to keep it cozy enough for him to exist within it every night.Don't ever break the moon's globe, not only will the witch cast a spell on you, but there's no telling how you can ever replace such a unique crackle globe. Amazon does not have such an orb for sale. Magic doesn't have a price.This nightlight is plenty bright for the walk down the hallway. Seriously.Speaking of price, this night light is on the high side at $18 for a glass orb and a plastic moon, but this is much more than just a night light; it embodies the likes of witches, spells, cheese, a man-in-the-moon, fantasy, and magic.Seriously.Ver másVer menos
