Great value for the money
For the money you couldn't get better value but the tools are a little bit on the cheap side not going to lie. I was kind of nervous using it on my Charvel the multi-tool that is. Considering it's a high in instrument and let's just say this.. I have rounded out a couple of screws so.. if you don't want to round out stuff on a high end guitar definitely don't use the multi-tool. Otherwise everything else is spot on great and would seriously recommend it especially for the cleaning agents and I made my guitar looks stunning very easy to use and very ergonomic with its carrying caseVer másVer menos

Useful Kit for Basic Guitar Maintenance

Handy kit for guitar cleaning and upkeep
I got this guitar care and repair kit because I wanted something simple to keep around for cleaning guitars and doing small upkeep without having to hunt down a bunch of separate tools. It comes with a pretty good mix of items, so it feels useful if you are just trying to keep your guitar clean, change strings, polish frets, and handle little maintenance jobs at home.I used it on a couple guitars, and the cleaning items were the part I reached for the most. The gloss polish worked well for wiping down the body and getting rid of fingerprints, dust, and smudges. It made the finish look cleaner without leaving it feeling slick or greasy. I did not notice a strong smell from it, which I liked, and it did not leave behind a weird residue as long as I wiped it down well with the cloth.The fret polish is nice too, especially if your frets are starting to look dull. It takes a little patience, but it does help freshen them up. The fretboard oil is also handy if you have a wood fretboard that looks dry. You only need a small amount, so I would not overdo it. A little goes a long way, and wiping off the extra keeps it from feeling messy.The tools are useful for basic string changes and small checks. The string winder makes changing strings faster, and the cutters worked fine for trimming the ends. They are not the heaviest cutters I have ever used, but they did the job. The measuring tools and small files are nice to have in the kit, especially if you like doing light setup work. I would just be careful with the files because those are the kind of tools you want to use slowly and only when needed.I also like that everything comes together in one kit. It is easier to keep it all in one place instead of having polish in one drawer, cutters in another, and cloths somewhere else. The case and packaging make it feel more organized, and it is easy to grab when I want to clean a guitar or change strings.The main thing to know is that this is more of a basic home care kit, not something I would compare to high end shop tools. Some of the smaller tools feel more like beginner or occasional use tools, so I would not expect them to be super heavy duty. Not bad. Tools are kind of, meh.
The “tools” leave a lot to be desired. The actual polish, fret polish and fretboard oil are pretty good. The cleaning clothes are really good. I wouldn’t necessarily trust these products on a high-dollar vintage instrument with an aging nitrocellulose finish, but owners of those guitars are not really who this product is targeting. If you need to clean up your import guitar these are great. The tools aren’t great, If I didn’t have any other tools I would probably try to use them, but I wouldn’t recommend using them if you’re inexperienced with guitar repair. Overall I think this kit is decent for the price point. Especially for the quality of the polishes and oils.Ver másVer menos

Multi-tool alone is worth the price
I've been playing guitar for more than 30 years, and I've accumulated quite a few of them. Seems something always needs tweaking. I'm not a professional or a luthier, so basic tools are all I need. This little set has pretty much everything a novice needs, right down to polishes. Quality of the tools is actually better than I expected, and I personally think this is quite a value for what you get. I've seen multi-tools like the one here that cost as much as this entire set.
