Best Purchase for My Son's First Basketball Season
I bought this basketball hoop for my 10-year-old son when he started his first season of basketball recently, and it has been one of the best and most used purchases we've made. He is completely obsessed with it and uses it every day that the Midwest weather allows him to. He's already improved so much in basketball, and this basketball hoop is the reason for it. It's so convenient to have something at home to practice on.The adjustable height is a huge plus because we were able to start lower and raise it as he gets better. My younger daughter also started playing so It's nice we can accommodate the height to each kid. The hoop is sturdy, and once the base is filled, it stays in place really well, even though some of the strong severe storms we've had.Assembly took a little time, but nothing difficult. Love that there are wheels so we can move it anywhere in the driveway or out to the street so the neighborhood kids can scrimmage.Only downside is obviously if the base isn't weighted down properly then it becomes unstable but that's expected with portable hoops. Also came with a good quality net!Overall, highly recommend to anyone with kids getting into basketball. My son can't walk past his basketball hoop without grabbing a ball to shoot.Ver másVer menos

LOVE this basketball hoop!
Very affordable and great quality! We purchased this a year ago for our son's 8th birthday. It's easy to assemble, adjust and soooo much fun. My neighbor down the street ordered one also. We had some crazy winds and backboard was damaged. I contacted customer support and they responded promptly. They have quickly resolved issued by sending me a new backboard at no cost!! Relatively easy to assemble - includes the tools you need and took about 20 minutes with one helper, and not trying to go too terribly fast. Nice flexibility in height.NOTE - HAVE SAND READY! I assumed that filling the counterweight base with water would be the normal method and while they support that, they HIGHLY recommend sand (because it can't leak away unnoticed). While I appreciate their logic, I wish I had known this up front so I could have gotten the sand bags in advance and been already to go.I ordered this because it was going to arrive on a Tuesday of a week where I'd be at that location until Friday morning. After ordering, when I got the shipment notice, it was changed to Friday (afternoon). So, due to the seller or logistics we didn't get to use it that week and there were some disappointed kids. It is a very well-made, basketball hoop and easy to assemble.
It seems to be a very good basketball hoop. It is well made, and it looks good. It can also be moved around to different locations. The trouble is the kids don’t want to get off their electronics and go outside and play with it.
