A Fun, Creative Craft Set for Kids (With a Few Pro-Tips!)
We bought this set for my daughters (ages 8, 10, and 11) after seeing the satisfying ASMR videos online. It's a great kit that comes with a vase, greenery, and plenty of clay.Process & Modifications* The Good: Making the flowers is easy once you get the hang of attaching the stems without bending the petals.* Our Tweaks: We skipped the finicky base pattern and the difficult cherry blossom mold, using our own technique instead. For hand-rolled flowers, we had to check YouTube since the kit didn't include instructions for them.Parent Perspective & Cleanup* Expect a one-hour activity and a little mess on the floor.* The attachments are easy to use, but cleaning out the tiny holes takes effort (reminiscent of the old Play-Doh spaghetti maker), though a cleaning tool is included.💡 Pro-Tips:* Bring Tools: Have a knife, a sharp pair of scissors, and a rolling pin handy (it would be great if the manufacturer included one).* Clean Attachments Regularly: Clean them after each use to prevent messy, jagged edges.* Fixing Edges: Instead of using your fingers, use sharp scissors to trim messy edges cleanly.* Ombré Effect: Roll up or segment your dough into small pieces before putting it in the tube for a better color blend.Note: I haven't attached my flowers to the stems yet while they dry, but I'll post a photo when the arrangement is done!Ver másVer menos
