  Fast DDR5 ram kit

  Used in an i9-14900k build. System info app shows it performing at rated specs. Has heat spreader, but wasn't tall enough to interfere with the large cpu cooler that extends over the first two ram slots.These were among the cheapest DDR5 sticks I could find in July 2026; I see some a bit less expensive now.   DOES NOT WORK on Arrow Lake Chipset (Core Ultra Chipsets)!

Certain Patriot Viper Venom DDR5 kits (particularly older 16GB modules and 32GB 2x16GB configurations) have a documented, widespread boot failure on Intel 800-series motherboards, including B860 chipsets (such as ASUS ROG B860 Mini-ITX boards) paired with Intel Core Ultra (Arrow Lake / LGA 1851) processors. What Is Happening? Failed POST / DRAM Debug LED: Systems built with these Patriot Venom kits on B860 or Z890 motherboards generally fail to POST, leaving the DRAM light stuck on the motherboard regardless of BIOS updates.   Not for Core Ultra CPU's. Ok for 14th Gen and below.

  I have confirmed that these do not work with the Intel Ultra CPU's. I was using an Asus motherboard, but from what I have found in searches this is a known issue. Probably works great on 14th gen and below.
