  Amazing Portable Speaker

I absolutely love love this speaker. Compared to the Go 4 this is bigger and heavier. I like the design with the changing lights. Red is my favorite color so amazing. Connects easily with my cellphone and also through the app when I use both Go4 and Go5. Battery life is good.Ver másVer menos

JBL Go 5 is definitely a GO CONTENDER

Going on 3 months absolutely am loving this compact product. Not heavy but has a nice feel to it. I utilize this majority of the day in my CDL Truck. The clarity and volume is amazing. I really enjoy the red strobe lights especially at night. For the price you really can’t beat it at all. I was amazed how loud it reached. I use this also to watch movies along side w my table top notch sound. It also pairs quickly to my iPhone 14 Pro and my IPhone Tablet.Ver másVer menos

  Surprisingly big sound

Don't let the compact size fool you—this JBL mini speaker punches way above its weight class! The sound quality is remarkably clear with crisp highs and surprisingly punchy bass for something that fits right in the palm of your hand or pockets easily. The rugged IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating means you can take it to the pool, beach, shower, or camping without worrying about water splashes, sand, or rain. The built-in durable loop/strap makes it super convenient to clip onto a backpack or belt loop with a carabiner. Battery life easily lasts through a full day of casual listening, and USB-C fast charging gets it back to 100% quickly. The ultimate portable speaker!Ver másVer menos

  Good little sound box

This thing is compact, makes good sound and the battery lasts a very long time. I don’t know how loud it gets because I haven’t needed to. It does exactly what I need it to at, I feel, a reasonable price. I’ve only had it a couple weeks and, so far, it’s done everything I’ve asked it to. It’s super compact and easy to carry. Some in box instructions (owners manual) would have been nice because I’m sure it has more functions I’m not utilizing because I’m too lazy to go online to find the manual for it.Ver másVer menos

Big sound in a little package.

Great little speaker. Big sound in a little package. Great for a road trip. Was on a golf trip with some friends, and one of them brought the Go 4 with him. We enjoyed it while winding down at the end of the day. It does not come with a travel case, but is very sturdy and waterproof. It's also small enough to carry in a shoe without the case. I bought the case anyway, which is attractive and adds a little more protection against the elements, if neededVer másVer menos

It does what you need it to do

I don't really consider myself an audiophile, though I do listen to quite a lot of music and can piece together where sounds are supposed to be on the equalizer. This speaker does it's job well for its size, it has great volume control, pretty good bass, the lights on it are pretty cute, and it connects flawlessly to my phone and mp3 player with Bluetooth. It's waterproof and weather proof which is great for when I go to the beach or out camping, and it is cool that it can become stereo if you connect another JBL speaker to it. However, this isn't a speaker to use for high quality listening, at least from what I've tried to do with it. There isn't a lot of depth to the equalizer quality, so you won't get audiophile level sound, and that probably isn't why you would buy this anyway, as it wasn't my reason either, I needed a speaker that was small for work. But sometimes in certain songs the mixture of certain frequencies will cause the speaker to play muddy, sometimes even strange sounding instruments which I have never heard from any other speaker. Crying by Bjork for example in the middle of the song there is a part with 2 synths playing which you can distinctly hear on regular speakers, but with this speaker it almost combines them and it sounds like a construction machine, and I know bjork does things like that but not in this song, I'm pretty sure. The midtones and the deep bass parts of songs seem to be this speaker's struggle, either it gets really really muddy or can't get to that frequency with the other sounds playing so it just doesn't play. It's really odd, but either way, this speaker doesn't have to do all that, it just needs to be small and play loud and pretty good, and it does a great job at that. I'm sure the more expensive and larger speakers don't have as much of an issue.Ver másVer menos

  Surprisingly powerful little speaker!

Got this guy for a road trip this past week and was really impressed with it. The sound is very clear and travels well - it did best in an enclosed space (car, dining room table providing gaming ambience), but was also powerful enough to DJ an afternoon in the pool. The battery also really impressed me - we didn't wear it down to empty but it easily could have gone 8+ solid hours of playtime and had some juice left over. Also, to be shallow, it's just really stylish, I love the color I got :)Ver másVer menos

  Jbl go 5

Great speaker for the price. Not to much bass, but it gets pretty loud for the size. The lights look good.
