  JBL Go 5 is definitely a GO CONTENDER

  Going on 3 months absolutely am loving this compact product. Not heavy but has a nice feel to it. I utilize this majority of the day in my CDL Truck. The clarity and volume is amazing. I really enjoy the red strobe lights especially at night. For the price you really can’t beat it at all. I was amazed how loud it reached. I use this also to watch movies along side w my table top notch sound. It also pairs quickly to my iPhone 14 Pro and my IPhone Tablet.Ver másVer menos

  Unheard of sound quality at this price point and array of features

  Can't believe the quality of sound coming out of this very small, lightweight, inexpensive speaker! Stunning. Set-up took a few minutes and love that I could pair it with another JBL speaker. Waterproof to boot and 10 hours between re-charges! Am a longtime Sonos and Bose speaker owner but this little thing is mind-blowing from classical to rock to hip-hop. Not sure why but also enjoy having this kind sound quality right next to me. Highly recommend.Ver másVer menos

  Great sound!

  I love this little thing - she sounds great and the app is actually pretty helpful. I plan on buying another one to pair up with it for the surround sound effect - but even the one sounds awesome. I spent more $ on a Walla BT speaker not too long ago (the 24oz can sized one) and was never happy with the sound. This JBL Go5 sounds way better, it’s more portable, and almost $10 less!Ver másVer menos

  Good sound and battery life

  Great little speaker, has good sounds for the size. Bass is lacking a bit but that was expected for the size. You can adjust light settings and equalizer in the app. Previously JBL speakers had different connection capabilities with other speakers, depending on the speaker line, but now they are all on “Auracast” which is nice. The battery life was surprisingly good, lasted an entire week long trip for me with periodic daily use.Ver másVer menos

  It does what you need it to do

  I don't really consider myself an audiophile, though I do listen to quite a lot of music and can piece together where sounds are supposed to be on the equalizer. This speaker does it's job well for its size, it has great volume control, pretty good bass, the lights on it are pretty cute, and it connects flawlessly to my phone and mp3 player with Bluetooth. It's waterproof and weather proof which is great for when I go to the beach or out camping, and it is cool that it can become stereo if you connect another JBL speaker to it. However, this isn't a speaker to use for high quality listening, at least from what I've tried to do with it. There isn't a lot of depth to the equalizer quality, so you won't get audiophile level sound, and that probably isn't why you would buy this anyway, as it wasn't my reason either, I needed a speaker that was small for work. But sometimes in certain songs the mixture of certain frequencies will cause the speaker to play muddy, sometimes even strange sounding instruments which I have never heard from any other speaker. Crying by Bjork for example in the middle of the song there is a part with 2 synths playing which you can distinctly hear on regular speakers, but with this speaker it almost combines them and it sounds like a construction machine, and I know bjork does things like that but not in this song, I'm pretty sure. The midtones and the deep bass parts of songs seem to be this speaker's struggle, either it gets really really muddy or can't get to that frequency with the other sounds playing so it just doesn't play. It's really odd, but either way, this speaker doesn't have to do all that, it just needs to be small and play loud and pretty good, and it does a great job at that. I'm sure the more expensive and larger speakers don't have as much of an issue.Ver másVer menos
