  Am I a Somiliss girly now?

  This is my second pair of Somiliss sneakers, and I keep wanting more.My first pair are perfect. Very reminiscent of New Balances, but without the price tag (and honestly, more comfortable).These are a similar kind of retro look without being a direct lookalike of any particular shoe. I got these in brown because I'd been wanting something super retro and these are kind of perfect.A couple things to note:The brown color is exactly as shown in the product photo. It is a true chocolate brown.The soles are kind of interesting. They're nubby and the heel of the shoe actually juts out beyond the sole a bit, and then the sole wraps up the back of the heel - verrrry similar to New Balance. This makes walking feel a little different than normal, since the way your heel hits the ground and then your foot rolls changes a little bit.Since this is a casual sneaker and they're not intended for running, I don't think there are any real issues with this body mechanics-wise, but I haven't worn these for long enough stretches to see if there's anything that hurts or aches afterwards. Will report back if I end up with leg, hip or back pain after wearing these for days where I'm doing more walking.For the short stretches I have worn these, they're super comfortable, just like the other Somiliss shoes I own (and those are actually my go-to, everyday casual sneaker for wearing with basically everything). I have plantar fasciitis and I don't find that either shoe bothers my feet, and I actually wear them without socks or any kind of inserts, which is kind of great.I typically wear a 6.5 and got these in my normal size. They fit perfectly and are, to me, true to size. My only little quibble about these is that the mid foot is a little wide-looking. That's actually not a terrible thing if you actually have wide feet and need a roomier shoe, but I think it makes them look less sleek than they could. Not that these are meant to be sleek looking shoes, but they're just a bit chunky.Overall though, these are going to get a lot of wear from me, and just like the other Somiliss shoes where I really wanted them in brown, I'm now contemplating getting these in the lighter color!Ver másVer menos

  Comfy but runs big

  These sneakers are a comfortable and stylish option for everyday wear, walking, or light workouts. I got them in a size 6 in the grey/white, even though I normally wear a 6.5, since they do run a bit big, and the sizing down worked out well for me.The inside is very soft with memory foam cushioning, which makes them feel nice and supportive underfoot for long periods of wear. They have a cushioned, comfortable step that’s great for daily use.That said, the shoe overall feels a bit rigid in structure, so they’re not the most flexible sneaker I’ve worn. They still break in fine, but they don’t have a super soft, bendy feel right out of the box.Overall, they’re lightweight, breathable, and easy to wear for casual outings, and the comfort from the memory foam definitely stands out as the best feature.Ver másVer menos

  Simple basic shoes that fit well

  My 12 year old daughter wears these for volleyball and she really likes the fit and says they are comfortable and easy to maneuver in while playing. They do not provide arch support but she doesn't need that. They are lightweight and easy to hand wash.

  Lightweight and Super Cute

  I ordered the Somiliss Women’s Sneaker in the Grey/White option in a Size 6 for my mom. These shoes fit her true to size. She has a standard Width foot and no issues with her arch. These shoes fit her perfectly and felt very comfortable. They are actually a light crème color, no grey coloring as described. The contrast pieces are made of a soft suede material. The insoles have a nice padding. She said that the bend was easy and not too stiff while walking. The bottom soles are made with a thick rubber material. They have a ridged raised ball type pattern which provides an extra non slip surface. We did spray them with a shoe guard to help keep the lighter coloring clean. Which will also help them be more water resistant. They look very fashionable. They could easily be worn with a pair of shorts or dressed up a little with some long Palazzo pants. Priced extremely well for the overall quality and look. I would definitely recommend these shoes.Ver másVer menos

  Cute shoes!

  These shoes fit true to size. They are really cute and well made. I find them to be comfortable for your average wear but not great if you’re going to be doing a lot of walking. I find these to be a great addition to my wardrobe and very versatile for a wide range of outfits.Ver másVer menos
