An excellent daypack
Super-duper comfortable backpack! As a commuter & casual photographer, I needed a pack that could hold a tripod and had more organization pockets than your average camera backpack. Granted that you can get camera backpacks with a ton of pockets, but that usually corresponds to a larger footprint and corresponding increase in price.This is a really nice solution in that sense. As an owner of the PGYTECH OneGo Lite, it's pretty clear that LOVEVOOK has taken a lot of design choices from PGYTECH's product. There are identical contour points on the top left and right sides, the zippers have the same diamond-shaped beveling, and the front stash-pocket rope strap accessory is identical in its construction. But this backpack improves upon PGYTECH in a lot of meaningful ways for me - for one, it's significantly lighter. This backpack does lack some of the additional structure and stiffness of the PGYTECH, but that allows it to weigh around 400 grams. That doesn't mean that the quality of the backpack has suffered as a result, as the fabric is easily washable and pretty sturdy without feeling overly rigid. Straps are generously padded and the back panel has thicker padding than the PGYTECH, at least from my impressions. This backpack also improves on some obvious pain points - the top access pocket finally makes good use of what is otherwise dead space on the PGYTECH, and the bottom access pocket is large and allows for more storage options (I store my laptop power cables & keys there) without eating into the total footprint of the bag. The baggage passthrough strap is also relocated to work vertically (rather than on the side, like the PGYTECH) and the sternum strap is larger and uses a simple buckle design. There are also so many pockets on the inside, with an extra laptop-compatible pocket in the main compartment - meaning you could carry two laptops and an iPad mini, which is tremendous value!For some cons - first off, the bag is a little floppy once you start to fill it up. My bag arrived folded in half - which crinkled (and damaged) the structural sheet and resulted in some sag that prevented the bag from sitting upright, as the bottom would collapse. However, I put a small square camera cube, and it filled in the space nicely, forcing the bottom portion to expand and allowing the bag to stand without further tweaks - making it my favorite camera bag, as both water bottle pockets can easily hold a travel tripod!I have some miscellaneous complaints - for example, the inner pockets are made of a very cheap-feeling material and could've benefitted from some nylon stretchy pockets, and the straps do not have dedicated strap holders - which can also be rectified. Otherwise, though - this is an excellent backpack, and for the $30 price that I paid, it's one of my favorite purchases this year. The light weight makes it excellent for photography & commuting, and the lack of a side access pocket means that your camera is likely more secure in the camera cube.
