Read for tips, don't let the iffy reviews discourage you.
Very easy to grow, I got them to sprout in 3 days. (Pictures included a few days apart)Some helpful tips-1. If you put a seed in water & it floats, it's no good.2. It might be helpful to sand down the one end that appears like it's "open" just until you see the tan/creamy colored inner second layer but don't go past that. I didn't do this but I've seen a lot of people recommend it, it just speeds up the process.3. Change the water out everyday. This is easier if you start them off in a cup or something small like I did. You won't need to transition them until they get bigger and have roots coming out.4. If you want to put them in an aquarium, don't bury the seed. Weigh it down on top of the substrate(soil, gravel etc) I've seen people do this by tying a rock to the bottom with a piece of wire, or using a U-shaped piece of wire just to hold it down until the roots take hold by themselves.5. If it's not blooming, it's not getting enough of something, whether that be light or nutrients. If you have any questions YouTube is a lifesaver, I've learned a lot about plants just scouting around various gardening YouTubers videos.Ver másVer menos
