  The keyboard that finally replaced my Apple Magic, DAS, AND Keychron — for good

  My journey to get here (skip if you just want the verdict)Spent years as a devoted DAS Keyboard fan, then switched to the Apple Magic Keyboard (full size) to manage on-and-off carpal tunnel symptoms — low profile, quiet, did the job. Eventually made the jump to the Keychron K5 Max thinking it was the best of both worlds. The problem? Brown low profile switches are loud when you’re on calls all day. Back to searching.A YouTube tech reviewer pointed me to the Node 100. Glad they did.The verdict: better in every waySilent switches that somehow still feel satisfying — mushy and thocky in the best sense. Full size layout. Easy to customize and fits seamlessly into my workflow. This is the keyboard I didn’t know I was looking for.Two honest caveats:• The layout takes some adjustment — don’t expect to be at full speed day one• Leave RGB on and the battery drains fast. I keep it off since this is a work machine anywayBottom line: Daily driver, indefinitely. Apple Magic — gone. DAS — gone. Keychron — gone.   Horrible quality control

  Overall keyboard feel and hardware is great. The switches are quite amazing for the price and are very office friendly.However, the actual connectivity of the keyboard is horrible. Both Bluetooth, wired and the 2.4 ghz dongle are spotty as best and the keystrokes ghost incredibly frequently, creating a horrible typing experience that has slowed down my work when I used it. Incredibly disappointing from Nuphy as I have purchased a keyboard from them a couple years ago but the quality control is completely different from that keyboard.More specifically, the E, R, P, I and 7 on the num pad do not work consistentlyVer másVer menos

  Decent keyboard, comfy and sleek.

  📦 — The box includes: the keyboard, a 2.4GHz dongle, a USB-C to USB-C cable (with USB-A adapter), a keycap/switch puller, and 6 extra keycaps (plain colored keys + Windows alternatives since the default layout is Mac).✅Pros:- blush keys sound aesthetically pleasing- keys feel smooth and sturdy- fancy touchbar you can bind macros to- four extra programmable keys (above numpad)- two kickstand options- supports wired and wireless, easy switch between devices❌Cons:- software is decent, but could use more customization/features- possibility to get sticky keys, multiple key presses- full plastic build (worth noting considering the price)🤷‍♀️Possible cons:- north-facing lights- keys are not shine-through- no printscreen key unless you bind it to something⌨ — I went for the gray keyboard, kinda wish they had black, but it still looks nice. The keyboard is fully plastic (top and bottom case), but it's solid and reliable for everyday use. It’s lightweight and comfy, but it doesn’t have that premium metal feel if that's what you're expecting. The wire for it is also durable, don't have any concerns about it like Apple charger wires.🎶 — I went with the blush linear switches after hearing sound tests, and I'm happy with the sounds. They have a smooth, slightly creamy sound. Coming from tactile switches, though, these linear switches are taking a bit of getting used to, I keep pressing keys I don't mean to.🌈 — The lighting on the keyboard is north-facing, meaning the lights are on the top part of the switches, so the bottom of the first row (F keys) and the last row (space bar row) are going to have low lighting compared to the rest of the keyboard. And the keys aren't shine through, so that also makes the lighting less visible.🔋— The battery lasts as long as advertised, although I've only tested it with my lighting on, so 60-100 hours, and the software has a default to where it turns off and idles to preserve battery if it's not used for a certain duration, which you can change as needed.💽 — The software has four lighting effects for the sidelight on the top left and then a handful of lighting effects for the overall keyboard. I'm coming from a Razer keyboard, and their software is definitely top-tier compared to other brands, so I can't judge Nuphy's software too harshly, but I do want to see more customization and features because it feels a bit limited.⚠️ — Some issues I did have were that two keys were stuck. I removed the keys and switches, even switched to wired, but it persisted. I think it took a lot of attempts of turning it on and off, and eventually I removed the dongle, even though it was in wired mode, and that seemed to do the trick. So I guess the dongle can be a little buggy? Not to mention that there are several times I have a key register multiple presses even after cleaning the key and switch, which can be annoying as someone who types a lot for leisure and work.Overall, happy with the keyboard. I needed a low-profile that looked clean and aesthetic, and this checks those boxes.

  Amazing keyboard but please release a low profile true 100% layout!

  This is an amazing keyboard with great features, the only complaint I have is I wish there was a low profile version of the high profile layout since the Home, End, PgUp, and PgDn keys location can be a bit odd with the vertical layout, thankfully it should be possible to swap the keys out to the upper right corner and just change the functions via the nuphyIO online config.The blush nano switches paired with the gasket mount and dampening layers make this keyboard really soft sounding which is great if you want to keep a quiet environment for yourself or others. It can feel a little mushy, almost membrane-like which I'm sure is different from the red or brown switches but I value the quietness over the tactile feel. If they ever come out with a version of the 100% layout with low profile switches? I'm going to be tempted to get one but for now? This is a HUGE upgrade from my budget Redragon Surara and Garuda GG100B .Ver másVer menos

  Great WIRED keyboard, Wireless mode not so much

  Great feeling keyboard with solid features for keymapping and RGB lights, QMK friendly as well. However, in wireless mode there are instances where you will get sticky keys (repeated input of last pressed key) and sometimes delayed input, it seems to be more prominent with the 2.4GHz rather than the Bluetooth mode, and their customer support isn't helping with this, lots of people have this issue, many "solutions" exist as well if you search online, but none work. If this isn't a dealbreaker for you, then its a great keyboard, wired mode hasn't given any issues.Ver másVer menos

  Switched from the Aula 99Pro I like the low profile keyboard a lot better smoother and faster typing. Great Feel and sound. Wireless mode is a little finicky but I figured it out. Silent blush switch is nice
