Massive Gel Gun for Massive Gel Fun!
I literally just got into the "gel blaster/orby" thing recently when I reviewed an Arobef AK47 that was such an absolute blast that my oldest son and I played with it for an entire weekend and exhausted an entire box of gel balls just shooting at...well...everything. Our house, our cars, each other (ouch)...and we both agreed it would be absolutely boss to have a few more of these things around (as well as some quality eye/face protection...safety first folks!!)Now I have my second Arobef Gel Blaster and this one is a DOOZY. Based on the Barrett 50cal Sniper rifle, this thing is an absolute BEHEMOTH. A full 42 inchest long, replete with bi-pod and a massive scope (that actually works pretty good for a plastic toy scope!) as well as a massive orange copy of the Barrett's signature muzzle brake. It's much more "toy like" in terms of overall look than the AK-47 as this one has Super Barrett written on the side and the aforementioned orange Muzzle Brake whereas the AK looks scarily like an actual AK from a distance. lol. Still, the Super Barrett is cool looking and is even more fun to shoot! This thing is actually pretty accurate given that you're firing little inflated gel beads. Using the scope and the raised rail sites I was actually hitting our little impromptu backyard targets (mostly action figures and few empty cans from the recycle bin) with most shots, with only a few veering off into no-man's land. My son, who had already claimed the AK as his own almost as soon as I was done testing it agreed that it was much more accurate and I'm guessing it's due to the barrel length. It's also a bit "hotter" than the AK as we each took a turn testing the "pain level" of getting hit by one of these things in the calf, and this one produced a much more noticeable sting. lol. Now, bear in mind, these Arobef guns are entry level Gel Blasters. There are guns out there that cost ten times what these do, but you get a lot of (literal) bang for your buck, and it's a very affordable way to get into the hobby. That being said, this one has a few shortcomings, and I'd be remiss if I didn't point them out. Overall build quality isn't quite as robust as the AK was, and we had some issues with the bipod (spring let loose, but it's all good) and keeping the Scope mounted while running around, but to be fair, this isn't a gun you "run around" with. It's meant to be a sniper rifle. It's HUGE and unwieldy and meant to be resting on it's bipod with you hiding behind a bush and blasting your friends!Good stuff!Ver másVer menos

This gel splat blaster is a lot of fun and the larger 42-inch size makes it feel more realistic and exciting to use. It has a good weight to it without being too heavy, and it feels sturdy enough to hold up well during outdoor play.I like that it has both manual and full auto modes. The full auto setting shoots quickly and keeps the game fun, while the manual mode is nice if you want a little more control. It fires consistently and has good range, making it great for backyard games or target practice. The rechargeable battery is also a nice feature since you do not have to keep buying batteries. It lasted long enough for a good amount of play time, and the modular design makes it easy to swap or recharge when needed.Overall, this is a fun blaster for teens and older kids. It looks cool, works well, and would make a great gift for anyone who enjoys outdoor games and activities.Ver másVer menos

You Can All Catch These Orbeez
This is a massive gel blaster - the biggest I’ve owned so far. I picked it up in preparation for an all-out battle with family and friends, and it definitely feels like a serious addition to the arsenal. The design is modeled after a sniper rifle, and it even comes with a tripod to hold it up.The scope actually works pretty well (for a toy), which was a nice surprise. I feel like a pro aiming it lolPerformance-wise, it shoots around 12 orbeez per second like others from this brand, and I like that you can switch between full-auto and semi-auto modes. The magazine holds up to 150 rounds, which is decent, though you’ll go through them pretty quickly in full-auto.One thing to keep in mind - make sure your orbeez are fully hydrated but dry on the surface before loading. If they’re too wet, they can cause jams.Overall, this is a fun, oversized blaster that stands out because of its size and sniper-style design. Great for group games if you want to add something a little extra to your battle arsenal lolVer másVer menos

Big Hit with My Son!
Got this gel splat blaster for my son and it was an instant favorite. The size alone makes it feel pretty epic, and he loves showing it off when his friends come over. It has both manual and full auto modes, which is awesome because he can switch it up depending on how they’re playing. The full auto is definitely the highlight, shoots fast and keeps the action going. Battery life has been solid too, and I like that it’s rechargeable so we’re not constantly buying batteries. It’s surprisingly easy to use and set up, and the gel ammo isn’t messy like I expected. Cleanup is pretty minimal, which is a huge win for me. Overall, super fun and keeps the kids entertained for hours. Definitely a great gift if your kid is into outdoor play and action toys!Ver másVer menos

Fun backyard toy with some quirks
This gel blaster offers decent functionality for casual play, with both manual and full-auto modes that make it easy to transition between play styles. While the 12 rounds per second speed is impressive, the actual power is not as high as advertised, with an effective range of at most 30 to 35 feet rather than the long-distance performance promised. It is a reasonably priced entry point for gel blasters, especially given its good battery life and easy loading of gellets. The build quality is fair for a plastic toy, and its 42-inch size makes it feel substantial, though the durability of the internal components remains to be seen with heavy use. One major design flaw is the charging setup: you have to remove the entire stock and connect a cable at the front, which is an odd, cramped process if you have larger adult hands. Despite these frustrations, it remains a fun and high-quality option for backyard celebrations and target practice.Ver másVer menos

Expensive
Build quality isn't great. Cheap materials and somewhat fragile. It's huge, though, and fun for the kids and different form their other orby guns. Like other orby guns, if you set a time and soak the orbees in room temperature water for 2 hours they shoot far, fast, and don't clog in the barrel. Good fire rate. Price is pretty much the same as two equally good guns that are half the size. Would not recommend as a first gun because of the price, but fine as an add-on for when they have less active friends come over (or for a parent adding some American Gladiator fun to an orby fight between brothers).Ver másVer menos
