Extremely quiet, with a soft membrane feel and a few quirks
This is an extremely quiet keyboard! It's membrane, so the keys are "gummy" feeling when they are pressed. I'll have to get used to that. They don't have a tactile feel in my opinion. So for games where I need extremely quick key reactions, I wouldn't go for this. But for games where I care more about quietness than tactile speed, this is extremely quiet. And it's not just the full presses that are quiet, it's also quiet when you touch or brush up against the keys, which happens when your hand is reaching for a key before you actually press it. That's a significant spot where some quiet keyboards can actually be loud, but this one is just about as quiet on the "feeling around" as it is on the actual pressing.Besides that, it's got good RGB lighting, although it was challenging to figure out how to use the knob to actually switch lighting modes. I figured it out eventually.Construction-wise, it's not the most impressive "look." Mine is forest green, which I don't super care for. The keys are also very faint to see their lettering if I don't have backlighting on. There's almost no contrast between the forest green keys and the lettering written on them. The default RGB lighting is a nova effect, which is cool, but there's no backlighting in that mode. Switching to other RGB modes gave me backlighting, but not with the nova effect as far as I could tell. But once I had backlighting, then I could see the lettering on the keys much better.Be aware that this is a smaller-sized keyboard, so you don't get a Print Screen key, or Home / End / Pg Up / Pg Down, etc.One slightly weird thing is that plugging in the USB-C cable doesn't automatically switch it to wired mode. Mine was in USB receiver mode, and I had to check the manual and press Fn+T to switch it to USB wired mode. Once I did that, wired mode worked fine. I also noticed that after a few minutes in USB receiver mode it "went to sleep" and didn't react to my first press after that. I had to press a key to wake it up first.Ver másVer menos

Compact gaming keyboard that gets the job done for gaming
ConnectivityI've used the keyboard in all three connection modes, and switching between them has been straightforward. The wireless connection has stayed stable during normal use and gaming without noticeable interruptions.SizeFor those absolutely desperate for a shorter keyboard that won't break the bank, the 65% layout saves a lot of desk space while still keeping the keys I use most often. I especially like having the extra room for mouse movement compared with a full-size keyboard.RGB LightingThe RGB lighting looks good without being excessive, and the illumination is bright and even across the keyboard.ControlsThe LED/volume knob has been more useful than I expected. Being able to quickly adjust volume without using keyboard shortcuts is convenient, especially while gaming or listening to music.Build QualityAfter using it for a while, the keyboard feels solid for its size. The keys feel consistently membrane, and the overall construction has held up well with regular everyday use.Value for MoneyConsidering the compact layout, wireless options, RGB lighting, and dedicated control knob, I think it offers decent value. Limited multifunction keying.
Pluses: This 65% keyboard is weighty and solid. It sports great LED coloring and selection. The keys are soft, quiet and crater constructed. There are 10 anti-ghosting keys. It was easy to set up (once you figure out where the power switch is, on the right side, near the USB port). It has three different connectivities: wireless, usb and bluetooth. Negatives: The multifunction keys are very limited. There are no delete, page up and page down functions, for instance. Also, the manual is minimal. No reprogramming information is provided. Going to the Chonchow site is of no use, as this keyboard is not even listed.Ver másVer menos
