Not an Overnight Fix, But It’s Actually Making a Difference
Skincare is everywhere right now, and honestly, it can be hard to know what is actually worth trying and what is just being hyped up online. But this azelaic acid serum has genuinely surprised me.After my last pregnancy, I was left with pretty bad melasma under my eyes. It has been one of those things that really bothered me because no matter how tired or put together I felt, my skin always made me feel like I looked more worn down than I actually was. I wasn’t expecting a miracle, but I was hoping for something that would slowly help even things out.This serum has been making a difference.I want to be clear though — this is not an overnight fix-all product. If you are expecting to use it once or twice and wake up with perfect skin, this probably is not going to be that. But with consistent use, and by slowly building up my skin’s tolerance, I have started to notice improvement.When I first started using it, I did have a little bit of purging, which I expected. Anytime I add an active skincare product, I try to give my skin time to adjust instead of immediately assuming it is not working. I also think it is really important to use products like this correctly and not rush the process, especially if your skin is sensitive.What I like about this serum is that it feels like it is actually doing something without feeling overly harsh. The azelaic acid, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and vitamins make it feel like a more complete serum for redness, uneven tone, dark spots, and texture concerns.As a mom, I do not have time for a skincare routine with 14 complicated steps. I need products that are realistic, easy to use, and worth the consistency. This one has earned its place in my routine so far.If you are dealing with melasma, dark spots, redness, or post-pregnancy skin changes, I think this is worth trying — just go slow, be consistent, and give your skin time. So far has showed promise in calming down "angry" skin
I haven't really been able to use this long enough to see what long term results are. Sometimes you have to get reviews in faster than one would like and so you can't always give long term analysis. For me I have never used this product or azeliac acid serum before but it has been suggested for me to use. So I tried this first as a spot test since I have sensitive skin and dermatologists always suggest to do spot tests for full use. I had no adverse reactions to spot tests. I've now be trying in spot wise on my face and what I can say this has done in a short period of time is to moisturize areas where I've put moisturizer but it seems to go away in reasonably short order. My skin with this stuff in the areas I've used it has stayed not greasy wet but or even moisturized wet but my skin seems more moisturized from the inside. So not sure if it makes sense but it's like the moisturizer goes into the skin and stays on a lower layer of skin rather than just staying on the surface. I'm not sure which part of the product is doing this, prolly the Hyaluronic Acid and I've used HA before but it's never been this long lasting or this...under the skin deeper moisturizing effect. So, for this alone I'm thinking this serum might be a keeper. I'm still waiting to see about hyperpigmentation but I've been told that takes a bit longer to work. I used this on a section of my face where it's been breaking out due to perspiration and that area isn't as rashy. I don't know if this is due to the Azeliaic or what of it was calming down on it's own or it gave my natural skin barrier system a boost but whatever, I'm again happy with the result. So lets talk price. At this current price point, I'd call this a definite keeper. If they start doubling the price or shrinking the bottle in this economy, I don't know....but current price and size I'd say yes, try the product, if it doesn't work for your issues, okay inexpensive test. But like I said I'm very happy on just the moisturizing aspect for me and will definitely purchase product again because I hate facial moisturizers with lots of nasty ingredients or that just leave your face looking greasy like you've fallen into a vat of vegetable oil.Ver másVer menos

Being fragrance-free is a plus for sensitive skin, and I didn't experience any irritation even with daily use, which isn't always the case when I try a new active ingredient. It helped even out some redness and minor discoloration over time, though like most azelaic acid products, changes are gradual rather than immediate, so patience is needed. The addition of niacinamide and hyaluronic acid in the formula seemed to help offset any dryness that azelaic acid alone can sometimes cause. The dropper bottle makes it easy to control how much you're using, so there's little waste. The 40ml bottle is a reasonable size for the price given how long a little goes. It also includes Vitamins A and C to help improve skin elasticity and firmness over time.The formulation quality is excellent. This is a clean, vegan product that even features a patent pending. Looking at the ingredient list, it is a massive relief to see that water is the very first ingredient rather than alcohol. So many skincare products on the market rely heavily on alcohol, which just ends up drying out your face and doing the exact opposite of what you want in a healthy skin regimen. The bottle is a generous 1.41 ounces, which is surprisingly large and will last a very long time since you only need a few small drops per application.
