Heart Rate Monitor Case - Sturdy and Well Made, but the Branding is a Bit Much
This is a heart rate monitor case compatible with the Kardiamobile EKG monitor. It is hard sided vinyl, with double zippers, with plush velvet lining with a recessed insert for the Kardiamobile, along with an elastic retention strap on the right side. On the left, it includes a pocket made of netting, with a small clear pill case included as a bonus item. This is very small and highly portable, as it is quite compact. It seems to be very durable and of high quality for a third party, aftermarket case. The one thing that I am not too keen on is the very large logo with "GWCASE" emblazoned on the front, as it is much more obtrusive than it appeared in the product pics and really does detract from the overall design. In terms of pure function, however, you couldn't likely do better than this one. If the branding doesn't bother you, this product should serve you well.Ver másVer menos

I’ve been using this heart monitor case for a few weeks now with my KardiaMobile 6L, and it’s been a solid little organizer for keeping everything together.The first thing I noticed is how sturdy the case feels. It has a hard shell that doesn’t flex much, so I feel comfortable tossing it into a bag without worrying about the device getting crushed. The zipper runs smoothly and hasn’t snagged at all so far, which is something I tend to notice quickly with small cases like this.Inside, the fit for the KardiaMobile is snug without being tight. It doesn’t rattle around, which I like, but it’s also not a struggle to take it in and out. There’s a small compartment for extras, and I’ve been using the included pill box more than I expected. It’s basic but convenient for carrying a couple of doses when I’m out for the day.The carabiner clip is a nice touch. I’ve clipped it onto a backpack a few times, and it holds securely. I wouldn’t hang it somewhere too exposed since it’s still a medical device inside, but it’s handy when I don’t want to dig through a bag. It’s a great value for the price and the size almost ideal.One minor thing is that the interior space is a bit limited if you’re trying to store cables or anything bulky along with the device. It really works best if you keep it simple with just the monitor and small accessories. Also, since it’s a hard case, it doesn’t have any flexibility to accommodate oddly shaped extras.Overall, it does exactly what I wanted. Durable and Secure Carrying Case for Kardiamobile Monitor... or Other Items!
This is a great little storage case! The GWCASE is a lovely turquoise blue color on the inside and outside. The exterior is firm, so it provides an impressive amount of cushioning and protection for my device stored inside. I like the optional carabiner, which I use to keep the case from getting lost in the bottom of my tote bag or purse. The elastic sections and straps inside the case are very handy for keeping small accessories organized and secure, but still easily visible. The little pill case is made from durable plastic, and it's waterproof to protect my medicine from spills or rain. The double zipper goes in both directions and runs smoothly. The case is also a good value for the price. It can easily be used to carry and protect other items when it's not being used for a Kariamobile heart monitor. If you have A-fib you need to have the Kardia Mobile with you at all times, regardless of the model you have. This versatile case will hold the 6L and 6L Max models safely and securely and keep the device handy. Whether you drop it in your purse or keep it in a briefcase, backpack, or other carry item, the GWCase is the ideal case for your device. It is attractively designed, highly portable, and very easy to use. The Kardia fits into the case and is secured by an elastic strap which automatically adjusts to hold the device tightly. Further, there is an extra piece of the velvet/foam lining to put over the device to protect both sides if you use the extra battery/pill case. The case has a logo on the top so you always know which side to open to protect against accidental drops. I like the double zipper pulls so it opens from the center. Also fits our mini blood glucose monitor!
We already have a red Kardiamobile monitor case like this that we've been using for my husband's mini blood glucose monitor but I wanted to switch to this black one because I usually carry it and am not a fan of red. (We plan to get another mini monitor and gift it to his mom along with the red case.) The mini blood glucose monitor fits where the Kardiamobile is supposed to go. And, if you line them up on their narrow side diagonally in the pillbox, the pillbox will hold quite a lot of test strips. We keep lancets in the mesh pocket under the pillbox. (The pillbox "plugs" the opening so the lancets don't spill out of the pocket.)The case is compact so doesn't take up much space. And it has worked out really well. The zipper stitching is strong and the inside has good padding. The shell will protect the monitor in a full purse, diaperbag, gym bag, or backpack full of books. Personaly, I prefer to use the included carabiner clip to hang it from my hip bag. When my husband carries it, he hangs it from his belt loop with the clip.For the price, this case is a good value. We're getting a lot of use out of it. And I like that the outside cover is a faux-leather type material that is easy to wipe clean and looks really nice.
