Retro Powerhouse, perfect for the M4 mini
This is a fun little gem. It pairs perfectly with my M4 Mac mini. I added a 2TB SSD to run Windows 11, and it runs both operating systems with no bottleneck. I have almost every port in use without the need for added power, and that is even when also using the display. The display reports having a 2560x1600 resolution, according to macOS. It is so crisp and vibrant! It has a decent viewing angle, but can feel a bit limited if the room is too bright. The display/hub fits very snugly over the M4 mini, with no ports becoming unusable as a result of using the hub on top of the computer. I do set it beside the mini rather than on top of it when I’m gaming, though, but I consider that to be better practice for long term stability anyhow.All in all, I absolutely recommend this little retro gadget. I can’t wait to see what they make next! I’d happily product test for this brand.PS. My first unit was partially defective. The screen didn’t work, but they were so quick to replace it that I hadn’t even had time to get the defective one to UPS for it to be returned before the new one arrived.Ver másVer menos
