Nice compact card case with secure hold
I really like the case for carrying around a couple of spare cards on a short trip. I also like the nice bright orange colour. The small size makes it easy to slip into the pouch of a camera bag or a pocket. This is a card case that can hold the following types of memory cards: micro SD (aka TF), SD and CF Express Type A. The case has a total of eight micro SD slots, two SD slots and two CF Express Type A slots. However, the actual total number of slots depends on how you configure it. There are two silicone card holders inserts, one for each half of the case. The silicone inserts can be removed and flipped over. One side of each of the inserts can hold up to four micro SD cards. The other side side holds either two CF Express Type A cards or two SD cards. With this design, in theory you could hold up to a total of twelve cards. In practice I would not want to always be removing and the inserts. As a result I use mine to hold four micro SD and two SD cards. The case has a silicone gasket and the closure puts a little bit of pressure on the gasket so that it provides a reasonable amount of water resistance. In my experience it is pretty water tight with the exception of full immersion. The silicone card holders maintain a good grip on the cards. I prefer these sorts of silicone holders to to the cases that use cut foam. The foam works well when new, but if the cards stay in place for awhile the foam forms a memory and then the cards slip out easily. Silicone is more robust against this sort of failure. It would be nice if the case came in a few variations so that I could carry four SD cards or four CF Express Type A cards or CF Express Type B.Ver másVer menos
