Great TV for the Price!
Great little kitchen TV. However, I had a little trouble with the setup. But I’m sure that’s on me!BACKSTORY:I need a tv in the kitchen. I just do. It’s too quiet in there without one. So the little tv I bought two years ago quit working out of the clear blue last month. I think they’ve become “planned obsolescence items:” That’s why I usually get a two- or three-year extended warranty nowadays. They’re affordable and usually hassle-free. But back to this TV….When my TV quit working last month, I called the extended warranty company (that I bought when I purchased the TV). I was so surprised at how easy that process was! The female customer service rep asked me a few questions, and within five minutes, they settled it over the phone with me. It was so easy. She asked me how I preferred to receive my refund/credit. I told her to just credit my Amazon account so I could order a new tv.SANSUI TV (Parent Company is LG):The next day, my refund showed up in my Amazon account and I ordered this Sansui. It’s the perfect size for a kitchen countertop. It’ll also hang under a cabinet. But I just set it up on the counter. Then I began to hook it up just like I did the last one. After I plugged in the hdmi cord, nothing else happened the way it was supposed to happen. The channel search came up empty and it should’ve been over 400 channels! So instead of banging my head against the wall I just called the electrician company that I use. They came the next day and had it installed and working with my cable and WiFi within 2 minutes! He said he couldn’t tell what I had done wrong. All he did was unplug it from the wall and plug it back in. And voilá it was working perfectly. At any rate, I can’t blame the tv for this. I’m just “technically challenged!” And now it’s working perfectly. It has a beautiful picture. And the price was so reasonable!Ver másVer menos
