Great monitor/tv
Excellent monitor, the colors and clarity are outstanding. I'm glad I decided to buy it. The IPS panel on this monitor makes everything look so good. Read more

Defective
I wanted to love this work . It was absolutely gorgeous and looked amazing when it was working properly. Unfortunately the power code refused to stay inside of the monitor and it would turn off consistently unless it was altered to fit so it wouldn’t move. Making it a huge annoyance. I was issued a replacement and it happened AGAIN! It has to be some sort of defect. It would have been amazing it if worked the proper way. Such a serious bummmer. Read moreVer másVer menos

Smart tv or desktop monitor?
My use: Monitor for WFH (writing, reviewing docs, research, video meetings.) PROS: I love the size. I thought my 32 inch screen was good so maybe 37 would be better. I don’t need a screen this huge but since I work on multiple docs at once and can spread them all out, I’m not complaining. The stand is very sturdy and makes it easy to move the monitor up and down to suit my height needs. Color appears good, but I don’t do artistic or color-specific work. Monitor is white which fits in well with my space. It’s beautiful as monitors go. Was easy to set up. CONS: The monitor has an OS which makes it feel more like a smart tv. I don’t need or care about web apps or the ability to stream from it, etc. It’s also inconvenient to have to turn on the monitor and then select “Home Office” or “PC” before it switches over to being my desktop. I’m looking for a way to set this as default so it turns on and automatically goes to the HDMI input I want, but I can’t find anything like that in the settings. Having to use a remote is annoying. I’ll probably tape it to my desk so I’m not always looking for it. Still, I would rather this monitor be able to just default to the HDMI input from my laptop when turning on just like a normal computer monitor. Overall I’ve been happy with every LG monitor I’ve bought and this one is no exception, but the blurred line between smart tv and computer monitor makes this a little more annoying to use. If I find a way to update or set a default to HDMI, I’ll update this review. Read moreVer másVer menos
