It's a Me, Mario Backpack
What's better than a new backpack? A new Mario backpack. What's even better than that? A backpack set that comes when a Mario backpack, Mario Lunchbox, a Mario Pencil Case, and a water bottle that while not adorned with Mario, it uses a color reminiscent of it. My son loves it.It looks fantastic. Some people may think there is not enough going on. Those people are wrong. This design is a straight hit of nostalgia laced dopamine from my childhood. It has a nice size. It is a little big on my son but he is only 3 and about to go into preschool. Who doesn't love to see preschoolers and kindergarteners with comically oversized backpacks. This one does not hit that level but it is easily roomy enough for school day needs. The material is nothing to write home about. It is pretty middle of the line for this bag type. You know what is good enough to write home for? The price point. Itis incredible value for getting an officially licensed by Nintendo Mario Backpack.Overall, it looks great. It has lots of storage, a plethora of accessories it comes with, it is comfortable to wear, and did I mention Mario? Sadly I told my son he can have it, so I get nothing. Good DayVer másVer menos

Not Premium, but surprisingly good.
My 5-year-old is starting kindergarten this year, so naturally I've spent way too much time looking at backpacks. When I saw this set, I was impressed by how much was included. You've got the backpack, lunchbox, pencil case, and water bottle, all with Hot Wheels branding, for around $36. In hindsight, that probably should have been my clue about the quality. Don't get me wrong, it's not terrible. The backpack is actually the strongest part of the set. It's lightweight, the straps are nicely padded, and it has enough room for all the things a little kid needs to haul around. Folders fit fine, the lunchbox attaches easily, and there's still room for the random artwork and mystery papers that will inevitably come home from school. The colors are bright and vibrant too, which my son loved. The lunchbox is perfectly functional. Nothing special, nothing awful. It keeps lunch contained and looks cute with the matching backpack. The material is a bit rougher than other backpacks we have owned in the past. The water bottle is where the budget-consciousness really starts to show. It gives me strong dollar-store sports bottle vibes. It works. It doesn't leak as long as the lid is secured properly. But if my 5-year-old manages to make it through the school year without destroying it, I'll be genuinely impressed. I think part of my hesitation comes from what we're used to. We've had Simple Modern products before, and while I've certainly had issues with those too, they generally feel a little more substantial and just smoother fabric in hand (granted, it's about $80 for a backpack AND lunchbox). This set feels lighter and less durable across the board. That said, when I step back and look at the price, it makes more sense. You're getting four branded items for $36. Once you break it down that way, the quality is about what I'd expect. Overall, I think it's a decent starter school set. Don't go into it expecting premium quality, especially from the water bottle. But at this price, it's actually really not bad. Also, looks EXACTLY like the photos. I took a picture of it, but the lighting makes it look faded and washed out. Great Backpack Set for Any Super Mario Fan
This backpack set was a huge hit with my son. The Super Mario design looks great, the colors are bright and vibrant, and all of the matching accessories make it feel like a complete set. It's perfect for any child who loves Mario.The 18-inch backpack is a great size for school and has plenty of room for folders, notebooks, and other daily supplies. The padded shoulder straps are comfortable, and the backpack feels sturdy enough to handle everyday use.The insulated lunch bag, matching pencil case, and BPA-free water bottle are all nice additions and coordinate perfectly with the backpack. Everything feels well made, and the zippers and stitching have held up well.Overall, this is an excellent value for everything that's included. The quality exceeded my expectations, and my son couldn't wait to use it for school. I'd definitely recommend it to any Super Mario fan looking for a fun, durable backpack set.Ver másVer menos

My only regret is I only got 1
I have 2 Pokemon loving boys. I should've known better. I should have gotten 2. I foolishly thought my oldest would be content with his Minecraft stuff. I was wrong.They took one look at this set and immediately started loudly wanting to know who it was for right as we were packing to leave for a week long vacation. I had to break the news that it was for my youngest. He crowed with victory, my oldest glared.You'll be glad to know it easily fit approximately 10 small stuffies, a well loved blankey, a Yoto player, a bajillion toys, and other essentials deemed necessary by a 6 year old with the zipper straining but holding strong. It even held up to the glares of an 8 year old.It was comfortable for an adult to carry one-shouldered because of course a 6 year old would NEVER carry their own stuff. It should also be comfortable for the 6 year old to carry during the school year since that's the rare occasion we can actually manage to get him to carry his own things (since the bus driver refuses 😆)Overall, this is a winner and don't worry, we're ordering another for the oldestVer másVer menos
