love this unique and “mindful” mini calendar!
I love everything about this little metal calendar. It’s small enough to fit in the space on my desk where I need it to. It’s light enough so I can move it around easily but it’s also not so light to the point I’d easily bend it.I really like how active this calendar makes you. If you think about it, most calendars allow for no thought at all. You just flip the page and it’s the next month. It’s kind of equivalent to watching the world go by. But this calendar forces you to pay attention and be present. You need to recognize what month you’re in, when the days begin and end, and remember when to move the calendar forward.I also really like the small detail at the top where there’s a notch. It helps the metal “date” piece stay in its proper space so if you were to accidentally bump into it, it wouldn’t just fall to pieces.Ver másVer menos

Convenient perpetual calendar
I like the convenience of a perpetual calendar. I like the size. It could be better made. I would definitely pay more for a more substantial product.

Decent quality but may not be great for semi blind old people
I suppose nowadays owning a physical calendar gives away the fact that I’m a Certified Old Person. I know that if I want to find out what day of the week July 18, 2030 will fall on, all I have to do is look it up on my phone or desktop, but I find something comforting about looking at a physical reminder of the passing of days while sitting at my desk. (My Beloved Pointy Headed Spouse uses one of those “daily” page type calendars that feature a new picture or saying for each day of the year, but even those don’t do it for me. Plus, they leave little pieces of paper all over the place.) This perpetual calendar not only satisfies my need to see the weeks ahead, it’s also ecological because it doesn’t need to be thrown away at the end of the year. It is made of a very lightweight aluminum, and is easy to use and set up. I wouldn’t call it sturdy, but it is solid enough to do what it’s supposed to do without frequently falling over. The only drawbacks I can see offhand with this calendar are that the wheel that indicates the current month doesn’t lock in place and it moves with the slightest touch. (This isn’t that big of a deal because although I’m old, I’m still able to remember what month I’m in). The other drawback that I encountered is that since this is a “mini” desktop calendar, the date numbers are a bit hard to read for us Certified Old People. I kinda have to stare at it a bit before I can make out the particular date. (Having to stare at something a while in order to read it isn’t limited to just this calendar by the way. It’s just one more hazard of getting old.) At $8.99, it isn’t a bad deal given that it will last a lot longer than I will.Ver másVer menos

This thing couldn’t feel cheaper unless it was made out of plastic—and honestly, even then, it might be better. The build is flimsy, and just a small bump throws the date alignment off. The wheel for selecting the month droops slightly, so the month display is always off-center.It looks like it should be a sleek, solid desktop accessory, but in practice, it’s practically worthless.
