Do not waste your money
Would give zero stars if I could. It would randomly say it couldn't read the SIM and would have to restart it for it to recognize it again. Retuned after one day of use. Also runs very slow. Yes, it is a budget phone, and you get what you pay for, but this is not worth it.Ver másVer menos

Good general purpose Android phone for moderate use
The 5000 mAh battery doesn't last as long as I'd expect. My Nokia C21+ has a 4000 mAh battery and it easily lasts 4 days on a charge, the K2 lasts 2-1/2 to 3 days. Android Go v15 is supposed to be more battery efficient but I don't see that. Other than that it's a solid basic Android phone. Dual SIM if that's useful to you. More RAM and storage memory than you'll probably need, but more is better than too little. The screen is sharp and crisp, a transparent case is included. Overall it's a very good dependable utilitarian smartphone for under a hundred bucks.Ver másVer menos

There’s tackiness to this device, hilariously symbolized by the massive greasy smudge on the side of the box, as left by someone who packed it (I had to snap photo and I promise you that the smudge isn’t from me).Fat smudges aside, I looked at the reviews before buying this phone (BLU K2) and they felt a bit uninformative. Now that I had a chance to play around with it, a somewhat detailed review is definitely in order. I got it for my elderly mother who only needs basic things, so overall it will probably work for her. Here are some important observations. First, the good:1. If you casually saw this phone in someone's hand, you would not in a million years guess that it costs about $90 including tax. It visually imitates a $300-400 phone from something like 2020.2. It has a cheaper IPS (not OLED) screen, not very bright, but decent. Product description lists like three different screen resolutions, so the actual resolution is 1600x720.3. It does has a reasonable battery life, which isn’t surprising with a 5000mAh battery. I’d say 1.5 days without recharging is a possibility.4. BLU does keep it updated, at least for now. Within the two days I’ve spent on setting things up, it pushed several OTA updates and they installed without a hitch.Now, the bad:1. 80% of the time, what it has for a fingerprint sensor, fails. The remaining 20% is probably enough to claim a fingerprint sensor from the marketing standpoint, but it’s just garbage.2. Face unlock is slightly better than the fingerprint unlock, but this is probably a software-based solution that uses the front facing camera. Nobody expects a proper face unlock at this price point, but it just keeps failing in good lighting, so this as a feature is also mostly for marketing. For everyday use, it is a massive source of frustration, so prepare to use a pin unlock.3. It comes with Android Go, which is a lighter version of Android. Not a big deal, but something that isn’t mentioned in the product description. Also, there is quite a bit of bloat (mostly games).So yeah. For me, this is a solid 3 star experience. I absolutely believe that a good fingerprint sensor alone would provide for a much better user experience, but I won’t be surprised that someone from BLU will comment along the lines of “but look how cheap it is.” It is cheap. It is 2014-2016 level tech (FM radio app, anyone?) that works for the most part. It’s just tacky.

Phone was listed as unlocked. Actually it was locked. Could not connect to carrier.
I purchased this phone because it was listed as unlocked. When I tried to connect to my carrier it was actually locked. Could not use. I contacted Amazon and received a refund.
