The scent is lightly medicinal and fresh—typical for AHA/BHA products—but not unpleasant. Upon first application, you notice immediately: 20% Glycolic Acid + Salicylic Acid is no joke; there is a slight tingling sensation, but in a controlled, "it's working" kind of way.Effects on the Skin:After just a few uses, my skin texture appeared visibly refined.What stood out to me in particular:• Pores look smaller and less congested.• Blemishes heal faster—especially small subcutaneous bumps.• My complexion looks smoother and fresher, almost like after a mini-peel.• Faint acne scars and dark spots seem to gradually fade.The combination of AHA (Glycolic) and BHA (Salicylic) is truly well-balanced—exfoliating, yet not overly aggressive, provided you don't overdo it by using them daily.Application & Skin Sensation:I use the pads in the evening, 2–3 times a week. Convenient pads to clean and hydrate skin
I’ve been using the PatchRx Glycolic Acid Pads for a few weeks now and have really liked them so far. I picked these up because they combine exfoliating acids (glycolic and salicylic) with hydrating ingredients, plus panthenol (Vitamin B5) and cucumber extract to help calm the skin and reduce irritation.The jar comes with 75 pre-soaked pads, which makes them super convenient to use. I also appreciate that it includes attached tongs, so you can grab the thin pads without contaminating the rest. There isn’t much of a fragrance so that is helpful to those who are sensitive to scented products.I use them 2–3 times a week at night, followed by a moisturizer. Glycolic acid pads
These are pretty good pads that seem to do what they say, but I find they are a little small to use on the face. I feel I really need to use two at a time to get a good cleaning since they are small. I would also advise to start with a lower % of glycolic acid if you have not used the product before as it may cause irritation. I experienced some redness on the days I used these pads and had to put a calming moisturizer on afterwards. It does some with a small tweezer under the cap so that you can pick up the pads a bit more easily as they tend to stick together. Hard to open jar, and face felt sticky after using.
The first thing was getting into the jar. The cap snaps open easily to a cover with a tab to pull. This tab snapped off easily, leaving the jar totally sealed. After some scary moments with a knife and cutting completely around the top, I was able to remove the seal.The pad are stacked inside the jar and there is a little pair of tweezers to pick out the pads. The pads feel cool, do not have much or any of an odor. The pads wiped onto the skin easily and smoothly and did not leave any feeling of burning or tingle.After a few minutes my face felt very sticky. I did not like that feeling. Then (even though I stayed far away from my eyes) my eyes started to burn slightly. I then washed it off my face. After about 20 minutes my eyes returned to normal.I do not think I will try again.Ver másVer menos
