Color does last if properly applied
I have several shades...ok, I have all but 2 and plan to remedy that situation. I love them all. I have very dry lips, I always have even before my love affair with lipstick began. These do not make my lips irritated. In fact, they make them so soft and gloriously hydrated. I love to pair them with the Elf Main Stain liners or the Sheer For It tints. That may seem counterintuitive - putting oil on top of a water based stain, but I promise it works very well if you follow these basic instructions. Let either lip stain dry for 10-15 minutes before applying the Glo reviver stick. (I do my hair.) Then dab on the first coat of glo reviver. Let it soak in for a couple of minutes. Then build up coverage. Don't go too heavy. Remember, it is a sheer lipstick. Let the oil of the stick soak in for 30-45 minutes without eating or drinking. Same method if not using the stain. The color will last hours if you do that. A heavy oily meal will need a more serious repair just like any other lipstick. Touch up lightly if needed- just like any other lipstick.I have a very fair complexion with cool undertones. If you're thinking Addams family, you've got the right idea. Even Truffle Maker works for me, it becomes a really pretty cool red that contrasts against my copy paper skin in a nice way. The only color that doesn't work is the super pale pink, it has me looking recently departed from this mortal plain...which isn't very difficult, so no insult to Elf.Ver másVer menos
