Nice Phone
I needed to replace a very aged tracfone. I wanted a Samsung because I'm used to this brand. I'm a senior and was not real comfortable having to set up a new phone. I watched a YouTube video that was very helpful. I transferred my old phone to my new phone using an app called Smart Switch. It worked great! All my apps, contacts, photos, etc transferred easily. You then have to call Tracfone customer service to get your phone number and all of your carry over minutes, data, etc. That also went relatively smooth. Now I have a new phone and I love everything about it. Works great and at an affordable price!!Ver másVer menos

Makes my life easier...
I love this cellphone! Excellent quality, fair price, and works like a dream! The sound quality is great and the battery lasts twice or three times as long as my old cellphone. Nice "A" model Galaxy
Unlike my S9+ Galaxy, this boots slower. The A26 was purchased as a backup to my aging A23, and seems similar. It's a lot of phone for the price. Large screen is a plus.

Very happy with my phone
Needed a new phone quickly. My older Samsung A14 was on it's last legs. Even though it was technically not that "old" (2 -3yrs, bought brand new), it was lagging, crashing, and not working with apps that had previously worked well when the phone was new.This may be a Samsung A series issue. Even though they say they will update for 4- 6 yrs (depending on which phone) they are not including ALL updates. So after 2 years my phone was useless.I digress.....This "Tracfone" Samsung A26 is a dream phone (note: while it lasts). Everything is a big improvement over my old phone.• The screen size is larger, and definitely clearer, brighter than my old phone.• Set up was EASY peasy. NO SIM card!!!!! Yea!!! No fumbling with a tiny card, tiny tray, figuring out which way tiny card needs to go into tray, finding a paper clip to open tiny tray because in only 3 days of having the phone the tiny opener fell out without you realizing it and is already lost, never to be recovered (this happened to me with just about every new phone I bought).• Battery runs HOT on my phone from the get-go. Not sure why. It's making me put my phone down to cool off which is a good thing.• Speed is super fast. I only had technically 2g on my last phone. Amazon website is now loading up normally and quickly whereas with last phone waiting was normal, clicking was extremely slow results (think DSL speed here).• All apps transfered easily with Samsung Smart transfer. It started transfer just by detecting my old phone. No need to select anything or open apps. Awesome!• Everything that was compatible on my old phone works even better on this phone. Apps open smoothly, run well on this phone. Graphics are clearer. Better options for text sizes on pages for these older eyes. You can have all of your text in bold, whether on the internet, or in (most) apps.I have noticed that I now have to double tap everything like a windows computer to open, or start. I don't know if i need to change my settings or if this is now like Windows. I'm OK with it. No accidental opening apps.One MINOR con:The description states locked to Tracfone. My photo shows this is a Verizon phone not a Tracfone which I was expecting. There were ZERO issues connecting. The phone literally did it all by itself. It loaded my plan with ZERO wait time. My old phone (purchased at Tracfone) was useless in about 15 seconds.I'm sure this phone will only last 2 years at best, but for this price it is worth it. Seems that Samsung phones don't last more than 2 years now whether S or A series. At least this has been my experience. I AM a heavy phone user.You can add an SD card for extra space. I've found they are mostly useless for phones any more because most apps don't have an option to transfer to SD. Apps are what take up most of my space on my phone.
