Well Packaged and Works Well For Me
As with any supplement you plan to take, please ensure to consult your physician prior to starting any regiment or addition of a supplement to your daily routine. That said, reviewing supplements is a really - really difficult process, given supplements react differently to each and every individual...so what takes place in my personal situation may or may not be what takes place when another individual takes the same supplement. That's why I like to start out my review with the very basics...the packaging. While it may sound mundane or simple, I personally think it is how anyone should start to look at their supplements. If the packaging doesn't seem like it is consistent, neat, and focused on safety, then how am I as a consumer supposed to think about the product contained within the packaging? So, here is goes. As you can see from the photos attached, this product has a plastic safety seal on the lid itself which I truly appreciate as a consumer. Once you get past the plastic lid seal, you will also notice the secondary tamper resistant seal on the bottle itself. So kudos to this company for putting a "two factor authentication" in place on their packaging. The skeptic in me always likes to see these two measures put in place for my supplements. Once opened, you can see the physical size of the capsule inside the lid. I feel most everyone would like to know exactly what to expect from a supplement's size. As for the effects of this supplement, I can not attest it does anything more (or less) than any other D3+K2 supplement on the market, but I can attest, that I have taken others and the effects for me are the same and consistent. I take D3+K2 supplements to promote calcium absorption and of course, because my bloodwork shows I need to increase the amount of D3 in my system.I like this product very much...and while it may look a little different than other D3+K2 products on the market, I think this is a winner.Ver másVer menos

Note that this is not a complete prenatal/postnatal supplement, but rather a targeted supplement for D3, K2, folate and DHA. These are all well-studied ingredients so not really a risk of pseudoscience supplementation. The sources of these vitamins are pretty high quality, as well. They are apparently highly bioavailable and the softgel format should help with the fat soluble nutrients, so the absorption of this supplement looks promising. However, although the dosing for D3, K2, and folate are reasonable, the DHA dose is rather moderate.This comes with 120 softgels to be taken once a day with a meal, so this is a 4 month supply. Prenatal vitamins are generally meant to be taken through all 3 trimesters and postnatal are usually for as long as your breastfeeding so you may need to get this multiple times.Although the marketing is centered around pregnancy, technically most healthy adults should be able to take this. It's interesting that the target audience is also highlighted on the label as needing doctor approval to take the supplement.Its not clear if these should be kept in a refrigerator. Having to take the pill with a meal makes it a little harder to fit into a schedule because you need to remember about it when eating. The expiration date is generous; I have till 2029 for the batch I got. This also has the third party tested badge, which gives me a bit more faith in the product.It smells a bit fishy and is very distinctive, looks like a little white egg, so should be easy to tell it apart from other supplements.Ver másVer menos

A standout feature of this formula is that the docosahexaegenoic acid is derived entirely from algae oil rather than fish oil, which completely eliminates any fishy smell or aftertaste. Furthermore, it utilizes the active form of folate known as L-five-MTHF rather than standard folic acid. The directions call for a serving size of one softgel, meaning this single container provides a full one hundred and twenty day supply. This supplement is formulated. with having Vitamin D3, K2, and folate combined into one product makes it a convenient option for prenatal and postnatal nutritional support without having to keep track of multiple separate supplements.The capsules are easy to swallow, which is especially appreciated when taking supplements regularly. Excellent D3 + K2 Supplement with Clean Ingredients
I’m a guy in my 50s who isn’t planning on any pregnancies LOL, but was specifically looking for a high-quality Vitamin D3 + K2 supplement that also included active methylfolate (L-5-MTHF) and algae-derived DHA. The listing doesn't match the label
I couldn't take these because the Amazon listing doesn't match the bottle.The listing's ingredients section doesn't mention gelatin, but the bottle lists gelatin (along with olive oil, glycerin, purified water, and titanium dioxide). I don't consume gelatin, so I wasn't able to use them.I also noticed the listing includes calcium and magnesium, but those nutrients do not appear on the bottle's Supplement Facts panel. Instead, the bottle lists folate and algae-derived DHA. The DHA may be plant-based, but the softgel itself is not vegetarian because it contains gelatin.The bottle arrived sealed and has a long expiration date (02/2029), but I can't comment on effectiveness.My concern is simply that the Amazon listing should accurately reflect the product shoppers will receive.Ver másVer menos
