Powerful PC's, great value & good for my remote team. Microsoft Intune / corporate managed devices.
I purchased several of these little mini-PC's (four of them, actually) for my remote based team, and I'm pretty happy with them so far. They have Windows 11 Pro and they were easy to connect to Intune as company managed devices. They fired up quickly with no problems, they work well, and they seem pretty fast. Each of these little Geekom devices was $499.99 on Amazon with 16GB RAM and 512 GB SSD memory capacity (one of the devices I bought was $100 more with 32 GB memory). Comparing them with some Lenovo, Dell and HP laptops I have been looking at and I need to spend about $1200 (via black friday deals) to get a comparable processor and memory setup. The deciding factor for me in originally buying these devices is that they have two hemi ports and two USB-C ports, all of which can connect video. That saved me around $100 per user since I don't have to buy docking stations for everyone to work with their dual monitor setup. So, my net out of pocket expense on the PC's (using my math) is $400 for the 16 GB's and $500 for the 32 GB units.Despite being Chinese made, they were packaged well in nice boxes and they seem well built. They come with the charging cord, one hdmi cable, the mounting plate and instructions. As we add more team members I'll likely buy more of these since they are such a good value for the money as long as the ones I already purchased hold up over time.Ver másVer menos

Works great for Formula One/MultiViewer setups
Was purchased in July 2025 to add to an existing media center, to run the PC-only MultiViewer app used to watch Formula One races. As of December 2025, it's been an excellent and affordable addition that I'm very happy with.I had exactly zero issues or complaints with any of this product... the packaging was great, the included information was pertinent, the quality of the case and components are excellent, and none of it feels cheezy or of "knock off" quality. For those who go out for the "presentation is everything" philosophy, the packaging in particular was very sleek and appealing, with a "thank you" card added in that actually felt sincere.My pictures should say it all - it has a very small footprint that mounts to the wall and looks great behind all the other equipment, although it did take me a minute to figure out exactly how the mounting plate worked. (But that's more likely due to me being stupid than anything else.)It's supporting a 65" HDMI monitor, a smaller 32" HDMI monitor for the race leaderboard, and a USB/HDMI projector shooting the race track onto the ceiling. I don't do any gaming on it and it's primarily used to watch races, but during races it runs 8 open MultiViewer windows and also a companion app used to control my smart lights, which change colors during race events. (Photo shows them turned to purple to indicate a fastest race lap was just reached in the race.) Through all of this it still has memory capacity to spare, but I don't have exact numbers as I write this review here at work. It doesn't seem to get particularly hot either, but I have mine mounted out in the open on the wall.Windows 11 (after some typical tweaking) worked well, added my devices to it, and updated well.I did struggle tremendously with the functionality of it all, but that was entirely due to Windows 11 and the finicky way it processes things as opposed to the computer itself. It took me quite some time to get settings correct with video and audio, as the computer runs through an AV receiver and not directly to a speaker system. Compact with big Impact
The Geekom GT1 Mega Mini PC has been an impressive addition to my setup. Straight out of the box, it felt premium with its sturdy metallic build and compact design. Setup was seamless, and I appreciated the wide range of ports, including USB-C, HDMI, and Ethernet, making it highly versatile for different uses.Performance-wise, it delivers snappy multitasking, fast boot times, and smooth performance for work, media editing, and general use. While it’s not a gaming powerhouse, it can handle casual and eSports gaming well, and there’s even an option for an external GPU (eGPU) for those needing extra power.Cooling is another highlight—the fan stays quiet, and even under heavy workloads, the PC remains cool without thermal throttling. Overall, the GT1 Mega is an excellent choice for professionals, casual gamers, and those looking for a powerful, compact PC. Geekom GT1 Mega 32GB Ultra 9 185H- an instant failure with use. Buyer beware
A Mini-PC that is very powerful and stable for the money. With Windows 11pro and bitlocker built-in. To update its drivers, I used Driver Easy app. And to optimize its OS i used CCleaner and DiskMax (both free). I used Malwarebytes to clean entire system. I have noticed that in any new OS (Windows 11), Microsoft Edge uses an enormous amount of RAM with its browser functions (Youtube) and CoPilot AI drain, that at times, it glitches the system to a freeze which locks the system and you have to reboot. To circumvent this, use Chrome browser to alleviate this permanently which is more System OS streamlined and not abusive to the RAM. For Office Suites use Libre or Openoffice suites. The use of K-lite codecs for video and audio playback is better than what comes with system (its free by the way). The Fan might go off only if doing heavy diagnostics (esp if using CCleaner, Diskmax, Malwarebytes, and MRT simultaneously). When moving huge files back and forth try to stick to 100 GB at a time, more than 250 GB can crash a system half way thru. When using Microsoft edge , use it only for CoPilot research and mundane browser use. Anything more in depth, youtube videos or VPN use -for watching movies, use Chrome. Also make sure you match Video 1 (HDMI) with 4k monitor's video 1 (HDMI). In the front of Geekom there are four USB A ports all 3.2 Gen 2 ports- when using two external SSD drives - do not pair them with slot 2,3,4 slots it can overwhelm the ports power and crash your system. Instead use Port 1 and then any combo of 2,3,4 and that will work perfectly. You can use the ports 2,3,4 for USB keyboard or mouse and it will not drain or glitch the system with or without data transfers. For Data transfers use Cable Matters and any Nvme 2280 SSD (like Crucial). This Geekom GT1_Mega MiniPC with its small size and cost efficient pricing and 32 GB RAM offer true power and stability that rivals any PC desktop or Non PC systems, hands down. Lets see if if holds up.Update: as of Aug 28-2025 (in less than a week old)Recently, the Ultra 9 (Geekom) has been crashing- system freezes, so much, it has become unusable. Be careful of these made in China fully, they are truly unreliable. I have done every diagnostic check and the system is okay. I have even run SFC /scannow under run Terminal Prompt (admin) and it says the system is fine (no violations). My laptop i7 from LG runs smooth and has never glitched in its 3 years or more of life and I'm connecting it to my 4k monitor with no problems period. These mini-PCs from Geekom and Beelink have been a nightmare for me. Buyer beware.

Palm top computing with desktop speed. It's little but fierce!
While this little guy isn't much bigger than my cell phone, it out performs the rest of our computers here in our house.I call it a palm top computer, and I'm using it to replace my old Dell desktop. And so far it does!It has an Intel processor that can work up to 4.7 Ghz. Once it's setup from power of to the desktop is 12.8 seconds due to it have an SSD boot drive which is made by Kingston Technologies. 1 TB of storage along with 32 GB of DDR4 RAM which you CAN upgrade.It has no moving parts other than the fan which keeps the CPU cool and quiet. Windows 11 PRO is pre installed and you just need to setup the OS for yourself. Total setup time was under 30 minutes.So far I've had no compatibility issues with any programs. It DOES try to set you up on Microsoft Edge and Outlook, but it's easy enough to change that.I'm not a gamer except for one game I play online, but the load times have dramatically decreased on it, and the video quality is very good. As far as it being a AAA platform, I didn't pay those but other reviews suggest it hits the mark with most of them.It DOES have an AMIBIOS which is a little lacking on options, but it does have the basics. It comes with a 3 year warranty, which is above standard versus other minis.The fan is ultra quiet and reliable for keeping temps down. It can support up to 4 monitors but that's not what I'm using it for. It also has built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi so I don't need to add those in. It has one LAN Ethernet port rated at 2.5 Ghps. That's a faster rating than my fiber router.I'll be buying more of these during the year to upgrade some of our other desktops, and after I run some other diagnostics I'll upload those results to here.But it's 5 stars from me.Ver másVer menos
