Sound Great with Plenty of Bass
Great pair of active bookshelf speakers, especially at the price point. Substantial bass without a subwoofer, but there's a connection if you want more bass! The sound is clear and concise, perfect plug & play for greatly improved TV sound!!! If you are looking for a decent priced set of speakers that not only sound great, but also look great!!! Good speakers, good value
I bought these speakers because they are active (no separate amplifier), have a relatively large woofer for a satisfying bass, separate mid-range and tweeters, have the latest Bluetooth 6, plenty of power for a medium room, and are attractively simple looking (walnut trim). I am a classical orchestra musician but not a big audiophile and was hoping to rediscover the joy of hearing a soundstage with instruments in an orchestra in their proper places while not spending a fortune. I have a few headphones (including some nice ones from Edifier); they just don't do it. I was very pleasantly surprised by the ease of setup, simple pairing, sound and stereo imaging of these rather substantial and weighty speakers out of the box. The sound is much more realistic than my boombox speakers or mid-range tv soundbar. I mostly listen to internet radio from iHeartRadio or Amazon music for example, so there is a lot of Bluetooth use. I briefly tried them at high volume levels and found a clear, powerful sound with ample bass without a subwoofer, but I mostly listen at moderate levels. After a couple of weeks with them I am very satisfied; I feel I got my money's worth from this purchase.Ver másVer menos

A little larger than I though, but will fill a large room with good sound
Surprisingly punchy, but it’s my first set of bookshelf speakers in 20 years so I don’t really have a good comparison. Over the years I’ve had several soundbars, portable speakers, and other various stereo systems, but I wanted something specifically for my turntable.These perform better than I expected, but for the price point I purchased at I feel like they’re performing as well as they should be.I have been using a Sony XP500 for the while and it was performing very well minus the obvious for the situation. The Edifier R2750db gets much louder, with a noticeably hi/lo range.They are a little bigger than and heavier than I was anticipating so I definitely won’t be wall mounting or using on the floating shelves I have, but I’m pretty sure I’ll keep them for a while. Im not the biggest fan of the overall appearance though. The black wood grain looks alright and goes with my decor well, but the controls and switch are on the back for some reason. I like that it has Bluetooth, that’s nice for the day to day, it also has an optical out and a sub out in case you’re using it for the living room space which it will definitely fill.I was torn between something powered or opting for passive and getting an amp/receiver, and I’m not regretting the decision at all. I don’t normally listen at full or near full volume anyways so it shouldn’t be a problem.I did however immediately run through a test playlist I have and they’re performing quite well across all genres. Deep boomy lows on the hip hop and edm tracks, crispy highs on the indie and unplugged, and some crunchy feel for the grunge.Quick and easy to set up, just a few cords. Very well packaged and came in with zero damage.Ver másVer menos

Amazing sound and Bluetooth 6.0
Great sounding speakers, lots of inputs, and Bluetooth 6.0 is a huge upgrade (your device must transmit in 6.0 to hear the improved audio quality).

Outstanding powered speaker
The best set of powered speakers I have used, the sound is very strong and loaded with features. Has ARC input for hdmi connection and the display on the front has all the information. The remote works well and the cabinets are sturdy and look stylish. Gets plenty loud too, 72 watt amp for each speaker with many inputs.Ver másVer menos

Middle child
Middle child output wise but the most expensive speaker I own. I have an Edifier M60 that has clearer highs and mids and a Harman Kardon Aura studio 4 that is fuller and louder. If the R2750 and the Aura 4 are both on you cannot her the 2750. My TV feels louder than the 2750 most of the time. The speakers sound nice. Wide soundstage and decent separation in the highs, mids and base are decent but considering that these speakers retail higher than both of the speakers that I have with advantages over them combined is a little disconcerting.Will test but already considering returning.Ver másVer menos
