Amd is upping their game
Been running this everyday for a month, works great on ubuntu with rocm. Plays games without screaming at you, even modern games (not openworld stuff) the fan barely turns on despite having a small form factor. 32gb vram leaves tons of headroom for anything. Only downside is memory bandwidth is 30% of nvidias 32gb vram 5090 but it only uses 1/3rd the electricity if you power limit to 200w, and costs less than 1/4th of a 5090. Limiting to 200w from 300w only drops performance about 10%. By far the best perf/$ of any card on the market. Only get nvidia if you have to have hardware accelerated raytracing and you dont mind all your games looking exactly the same.Ver másVer menos
