Pinpoint accurate positioning for gaming, but bassheads should look elsewhere
Gaming Performance and Soundstage:If you play competitive shooters like Valorant or Rainbow Six, the positional tracking on these is incredibly precise. Thanks to the dynamic and planar driver combo, footsteps and reload cues slice through the mix instantly. The left to right imaging gives you a great sense of exactly where sounds are coming from.Music Performance and Bass Response:For music, these lean much more toward a clean, crisp, and analytical sound rather than warm and punchy. The vocals are forward and acoustic instruments have nice separation. However, if you are looking for deep, rumbling bass for heavy rap or cinematic explosions, you will likely find these a bit thin. The sub bass rolls off early, so it prioritizes absolute clarity over a massive, booming low end.Cable and Microphone Quality:The included cable is an extra long 1.7 meters, which is fantastic for desktop use since it gives you plenty of slack to move around without pulling on your PC jack. It also has a built in inline microphone. The mic sounds clear enough for Discord calls...but honestly don't buy these for the mic...I recommend getting a stand alone mic to pair with be these. The USB C Dongle and App:Having the built in USB C DAC adapter is a huge bonus since it bypasses cheap motherboard audio slots and cleans up the signal. If you use an Android phone or a PC web interface, you can access the custom app presets and parametric EQ to fine tune the sound profile. Just a warning for console players though, the digital processing via the USB C connection does not support UAC 1.0 protocols, meaning you will have to plug them in via a standard 3.5mm jack if you want to use them on Xbox or Switch.Pros:Stellar horizontal imaging for competitive gaming footsteps.Extended 1.7 meter cable is perfect for desktop setups.Crisp, highly detailed treble without sounding piercing.Handy USB C adapter with strong companion app EQ tools.Build quality and durability are top tier. The metal chrome look is a nice touch.Cons:Not meant for bassheads due to a noticeable sub bass roll off.USB C features do not support Xbox or Switch console compatibility.Ver másVer menos
