  The perfect moisturizing, everyday lipstick!

Been really loving this Maybelline serum lipstick, especially in the shade Fit Check. It glides on so easily and feels super smooth and nourishing on my lips, not sticky at all. The color is a perfect mauvy pink with a little shine, and you can build it up if you want more payoff. I’ve actually tried other shades from this line too, both satin and matte, and I’ve had great luck with all of them! This one lasts pretty well for an everyday lipstick and just feels comfortable to wear all day. Definitely one I keep reaching for and will keep buying again! Can’t wait to try some other shades!Ver másVer menos

  good feeling, hydrating, good pigment

feels very hydrating and also good lasting power. usually hydrating lipstick slides around and doesn"t last. this stays on my lips without drying them out. it's not smudge proof completely, but it's good.

  Great affordable lipstick

I was honestly surprised by how comfortable this lipstick feels on the lips. The color is very flattering and gives a smooth, even application without looking patchy or too dry. One thing I really liked is that it has good pigment while still feeling lightweight, so its easy to wear throughout the day.The packaging feels more elegant than I expected for the price, and the lipsticl glides on easily without tugging. I noticed it works especially well when lips are moistured beforehand because it gives a softer, more natural finish.Ver másVer menos

  Pleasant surprise

Hold the Door is a very pretty medium mauve color. It's pretty pigmented, and I actually prefer to blot it a bit (I love Maybelline's suggestion to try that) for a soft, stained (and still matte) look. The lipstick feels comfortable. I wouldn't say it's super hydrating, but it's kind of neutral-feeling on the lips. I really love that this does not have a strong scent the way many Maybelline lipsticks have. (This is honestly the first Maybelline lipstick I've bought in several years because the scent they've been using tends to irritate my nose and throat. This formula has a much milder, more subtle vanilla scent that doesn't bother me.)The packaging is cute, and I like how the cap snaps in place so you know it's secure. It's a softer formula, however, and didn't fare the best in delivery. The lipstick was put in a huge padded envelope, and somewhere along the way it jostled loose and the tip got dented and damaged within the case. I scraped that little bit of lipstick mush out of the top and still have most of the lipstick left. (It had the safety seal intact, too.) But the way it was packed makes me hesitant to try more, at least via Amazon. If I find it for $8 elsewhere I may try a couple others, however.I give five stars for a nice, affordable lipstick, but knocking off one for it being shipped loose in a huge envelope.Edited to add: I've since tried the satin formula. That's amazing, like a balm but with fantastic color payoff. It's unbelievably comfortable and silky and lasts way longer than I'd expect something that comfortable to last.Ver másVer menos

  Nice lipstick

It’s a nice lipstick. It’s matte but not drying on the lips. The color is nice but unfortunately it was darker than I expected. It’s not sticky. It’s lightweight and good value. It stays on really well. I actually gave it to my grandaughter because the color looked better on her. I’ll purchase a lighter color for myself.Ver másVer menos

Giving expensive lipstick vibes without the expensive price tag! 💖🔥

I was not expecting to love this lipstick as much as I do! 😍 The MAYBELLINE Serum Lipstick feels incredibly comfortable on the lips and gives the perfect balance between color and hydration. The shade "Maybe It's..." is the prettiest terracotta rose nude that goes with literally every makeup look. It glides on smoothly, doesn't feel dry at all, and leaves my lips looking soft and healthy. I love that it gives rich color while still feeling lightweight and nourishing. If you're looking for an everyday nude that makes your lips look effortlessly pretty, this is it! 💋✨Ver másVer menos
