Exactly what I was looking for!
I used to have a great home theater setup with tower speakers, but after moving apartments, my TV placement options became very limited and the speakers sadly had to go. I’ve been using a soundbar for the last year, but I grew increasingly tired of the thin, over-processed sound typical of almost all soundbars. I knew there had to be a way to squeeze bookshelf speakers into this setup to get a better experience.I started with the Polk R100s. They sounded fantastic, but they were simply too big, both visually distracting and positioned too close to the wall for their sport design, which resulted in a very "boomy" sound. Then I stumbled across these, which I hadn't see much about having only released recently. I didn't know much about DALI before, but my research showed they are a reputable brand that doesn't skimp on quality, even on their entry-level products. While these aren't "cheap," the reviews convinced me they are the most well-constructed speakers of this size. I can attest these feel very well engineered and well built.I needed something that could comfortably reach below 80Hz to ensure a clean crossover with my subwoofer, and no other speaker this small comes close. Additionally, DALI prioritizes a wide dispersion pattern, this made them perfect for my needs, as I’m using them horizontally and slightly offset from my main listening position.The second I connected them, I knew they were perfect. The listening zone is extremely wide, with almost no variation when moving around my (albeit small) living room. Despite having a mid-driver an inch smaller than the Polks, they feel every bit as powerful. I am so relieved this product exists, I couldn't stand being stuck with a soundbar any longer. When I eventually move to a larger space, DALI will undoubtedly be at the top of my list for larger tower speakers again.Ver másVer menos
