One of the Best Exfoliating Pads I’ve Used — Smooth, Bright, Gentle, and Made by Cosmax

At 52, post-menopausal, with dry skin that can also become sensitive, exfoliating products are something I choose very carefully. I absolutely want smoother, brighter skin and better texture, but I no longer have any interest in harsh products that leave my skin irritated, tight, or compromised. That balance between effectiveness and gentleness matters more than ever. These pads strike that balance extremely well.I genuinely love this product.The first thing I noticed is how well formulated the pads feel. They are nicely saturated without being dripping wet, and each pad has enough product to glide comfortably across the skin without dragging. They feel refreshing and easy to use, which makes them the kind of product you actually stay consistent with.What makes these stand out for me is that they give that freshly polished, smoother skin feeling without the aggressive sting or redness that stronger exfoliating products can cause. My skin feels softer immediately after use, and over time it looks clearer, brighter, and more refined.The formula uses PHA, which is one of my favorite exfoliating approaches for mature or sensitive skin. PHA tends to exfoliate more gently than stronger acids while still helping with dullness and texture. That means you can get smoother skin and better glow without the punishment some harsher products deliver.I also appreciate the inclusion of Vitamin C, B3 (niacinamide), and B5. That combination makes a lot of sense. Vitamin C helps support brightness, niacinamide is excellent for tone and barrier support, and B5 is great for hydration and comfort. So instead of feeling like a one-note exfoliating product, these pads feel more rounded and skin-friendly.For me, the results are less about dramatic overnight transformation and more about consistent skin quality improvement. My skin looks fresher, feels smoother, and makeup applies better when I use these regularly. Texture looks softer, and dullness is reduced.I should mention that I do not use these every day. For my skin, once or twice a week is the sweet spot. That gives me the smoothing and brightening benefits without overdoing exfoliation. Especially with mature or drier skin, sometimes less is more.Another thing I love is that these do not leave my skin feeling stripped. That is where so many pads fail. They may exfoliate, but they also leave the barrier feeling stressed. These leave my skin feeling clean, refreshed, and comfortable.I’ve also had no trouble layering the rest of my routine afterward. Serums and moisturizers go on beautifully after using these, which makes them an easy prep step at night or even certain mornings when I want smoother makeup application.And yes, I was very happy to see these are made by Cosmax. For anyone familiar with Korean skincare, Cosmax has an excellent reputation as one of the leading manufacturers behind many respected brands. That gives me added confidence in formulation quality and production standards.Who I think these are great for: people with dull skin, rough texture, dry or mature skin that still wants exfoliation, anyone wanting a brighter look, and those who prefer a gentler acid approach.Who may want to skip these: people with a severely compromised barrier, skin that is actively irritated, those already using multiple strong exfoliants or prescription retinoids without guidance, or anyone expecting aggressive peel-level results from a gentle pad.Value-wise, I think these are excellent. Another amazing product from Korean skincare.

My wife is obsessed with these. After doing a ton of research on the best Korean skincare companies, the ones that are used in South Korea and not simply marketed to Americans, we found Dr. G. She's used a bunch of different products from them, but had never seen this one before. Given our experience with their others, it was a no brainer to buy this one.Simply put, it works. The pads aren't abrasive, so it's not tearing up your face. They lift a ton of dirt and after you wipe your face you let it sit for a little bit and wash it off. It works better than the salicylic acid face washes my wife occasionally uses, and she's even got me using it. It doesn't burn or leave my face red. She doesn't use it every day, so I don't know if you might build a sensitivity to it, but it seems gentle enough to use daily.Ver más

Just ok, I forget to use it most days

Seems ok. I don’t love how wet my face feels after using it, but pretty typical of toner pads. It’s a product to use at night, due to the sun exposure warnings. Chemical exfoliation without drying

I have been trying to exfoliate more consistently to improve the look of my skin and help reduce breakouts. These Dr.G Brightening Vita Peeling Pads seemed like a good fit because they use PHA exfoliants, which are known for being gentle. I also liked that the formula includes vitamin C, niacinamide, and panthenol since those ingredients support brightness, hydration, and overall skin health. The jar includes tweezers so I can pick up each pad without touching the others, which keeps everything sanitary. The pads are very saturated with toner. After using one pad on my entire face and neck twice, it was still wet and fully intact. I have no concerns about these drying out in the jar. My skin is sensitive to exfoliating pads and often gets irritated, but these caused absolutely no issues. There was no redness, stinging, or tight feeling afterward. Instead, my skin actually felt hydrated. There is a slight tacky feeling after it dries, but it fades quickly. It doesn't bother me since I typically follow up with serum and moisturizer. The scent is extremely light, which I appreciate. I find these pads very convenient because they are ready to use. That convenience makes me much more consistent, which improves the results. At the full listing price of $20, each pad costs $0.29. I find that price to be very reasonable for the quality and the amount of product I get.
