This is amazing.
I had a retro handheld gaming device 5 or 6 years ago and it was ok. Then a week ago a friend asked me to get his RG 477M ready to go and let me have it over the weekend. I love that other than I did not like the shoulder buttons. Then I found this. While not as powerful as the 477M I do like the buttons slightly more and the shoulder buttons much more. It can play PS2, GC, and Dreamcast games fairly well. I had to buy a SD card to load what I wanted to play, but now that is done it's been a blast using it. For about $100 less than the 477M it's better than I imagined was possible just a few weeks ago.Pros:1. Battery life has been good. Been mostly playing 2D games, but I bet I could get 4-6 hours per charge fairly easily.2. Portability is just on the max side of what I can fit in a pocket. Any larger and there would be problems.3. Quality of the screen quality, sound, sticks, Dpad, and buttons is fantastic.4. No noticeable lag playing twitch games. I have played some games that have a noticeable delay when say jumping on a TV and other older handheld system and this is perfect.Cons:1. Some minimal slow down in intense scenes 3D games that the RG 477M didn't seem to have.2. Price is on the high end of what I wanted to spend when you add the SD card in.3. My thumb is sore after far too many hours in the last 5 days. Brings me back to the old days when I over did it.Final thoughts:I have a sit down arcade cabinet that I build and still enjoy, but honestly playing on this thing is far more enjoyable experience. It's almost perfect. Would definitely recommend to anyone that likes to play retro games.Ver másVer menos
