  Great way to free up desk space without spending too much

  I've been working on improving my desk setup, and a monitor arm is one of those accessories that can make a big difference without having to rearrange everything. What I like about this ErGear arm is that it keeps things pretty simple while offering the adjustments you'd actually want for everyday use.The tool-free VESA mounting system is a nice feature, especially if you like changing monitors or adjusting your setup.   Worked perfect for my microscope

  For the price, this monitor arm seems hard to beat. I’m actually not using it for a monitor, but for my SE400-Z Amscope microscope. I was planning on buying a monitor arm and modifying it to work with the microscope, but didn’t want to waste a ton of money if it didn’t work out or if I broke it, so I chose this one. Not that it was in any way planned by the manufacturer, but I got really lucky with this one because I didn’t have to make any permanent modifications to the arm or my microscope to get it to work. Just removed the last joint before the VESA mount, added a couple of the spacers that are included with the mount, and I was able to fit the post for the scope right in. It’s quite stable and seems strong, although my scope isn’t heavy enough to really put a strain on the arm. It was simple to assemble and I didn’t need instructions at all. I don’t know why this wouldn’t work great for a monitor or small TV.Ver másVer menos

  Worth it! Easy to install!

  This was really easy for me to install. I didn’t even follow the instructions that carefully as it was pretty self-explanatory total time was about 20 times what I love about this product is that the height is adjustable we can tilt the monitor and they are just so many different adjustment features overall the price was super fair and I would definitely recommend this product!Ver másVer menos

  One screw.

  The arms are heavy duty and both options for mounting are solid and secure. Great range of motion- that is exactly as advertised. I’ve mounted a 37” curved monitor. My only concern, is with all the heavy duty, solid parts- the back mounting bracket attached to the monitor comes down to 1 small screw keeping the monitor from crashing onto the desk. One screw. (I’ll be at least changing that to a nut and bolt.) Thank you for such sturdy arms and thought to how it goes onto a desk. Please re-think how the monitor attaches… it’s scary.Ver másVer menos

  An ergonomic lifesaver, could do better with instructions

  Bought this for my drawing tablet (Huion Kamvas Pro 22) which weighs around 4.5kg/10lbs. Needed something to allow me to put it over my keyboard while drawing, and sturdy enough to hold the weight of the tablet and not shake while resting my hand on it.PROS:- Good range of motion, tilt works great though it can be a little bit of a pain to keep it straight and not rotated ever so slightly when I'm switching its position all the time.- Was prepared to use the included grommet installation, but it seems the C-clamp is sturdy enough for where I put it. Can handle the weight of my arm on the screen with no issues. It does shake ever so slightly but it's negligible.- Cable management is a big plus. I ended up using the USB port at the base as an extension for the cable that runs out of the tablet so it could reach my laptop.- Back plate fits the tablet with no issues, for other people considering this arm for their Huion devices.- Assembly was fine with just one person. The instructions said to leave installing the monitor for last, but I did it from the start and I think it turned out being more manageable that way. If you also choose to do it this way, make sure you get the tension sorted out before you attach it to the desk.CONS:- For some reason or another, absolutely no instructions were included in my package. I managed to find the manual posted online so I was able to assemble it with no issues, but it would have been nice to not have to dig around for them.- No issues with the product itself, everything seems to be in order. Will update this review in a few months to see how it holds up over time.Edit (September 29 2022): After a few months of regular use, everything continues to work perfectly fine. My review remains unchanged.The only additional thing I would have to say is: If you plan on swiveling this thing around very often as I do, be very careful that the cables attached at the base of the screen aren't under high tension. Give them enough slack that they won't pinch at the ends; I had to replace one of my cables because of this error. Seems obvious in hindsight, but I figured I should mention this anyway since it might not be something you would be thinking about when you set it up.Ver másVer menos

  Worth it.

  Looks very nice and minimal. Was easy to install. The only issue I have is that the clamp is way too clunky and huge. Other than that it's sturdy and good.
