Switched from Fitbit, NO RAGERTS
Attempting to keep this short with as much details as possible but it’s still long and I apologize. Overrall highly highly recommend, quality and price are phenomenal and Apple users will have zero issue with connectivity as usual for Apple products.I’m a 35 year old woman, generally healthy switching from 8ish years of using Fitbit. My main reason to switch was that1. Fitbit changed and I hate it lol2. the readings were inconsistent rendering me dead halfway into a workout or my sleep, which was the premise of me having it it at all3. I wanted the emergency SOS detection mixed with the blood oxygen readings due to a recent series of tunnel vision/fainting spells/low blood oxygen levels.CON (the only one)I do NOT like that Apple forces me to log into my account or that I am unable to delete certain apps from my watch. I don’t care about phone calls or messages and realistically only want this watch for time and health benefits. the fact I’m forced to turn all my notifications off for every single app I do not want to remotely use at all on my phone to stop it from my watch is rather annoying, and takes up unnecessary amounts of space, memory? and functionality access within my watch.PROS-Connectivity from Apple to Apple products are unbeatable, the phone health app is fantastic and easy to run through for daily checks.-I’m left handed with a right dominant arm for my watches, it’s amazing the options available to switch to have a preference as to which buttons lay on each side.-readings; So far with weeks of use this watch has been consistent with reading my vitals, never skipping a beat while I run around at work, sleep, or general life. It’s already beaten out the Fitbit and I will add that I do have wrist tattoos with a blank spot at the tip of my wrist.-All functions within the watch are easy to access and functional from the watch. I do not have any issues bouncing around or forcing readings on the spot. Again, I do not use half the functions on the watch and can only speak for the health benefits.-As much as I hate most of the functions I will add the gps vibrating and telling me where to go on my watch in addition to my phone is extremely helpful.-watch faces; always a must for differences between person to person. I was able to quickly find a free one that showcased the readings I wanted to visibly see at all times with ease. Setup was fast and painless.-battery life is great for Apple but crap in comparison to Fitbit. I could easily get away with a full week off one charge using Fitbit but I’m also aware the Apple Watch does a lot more connectivity and behind the scenes work than Fitbit. For Apple; 10/10. It charges quick and I’m able to time it where I wear it to work (12-15 hours overnight), sleep, and charge quickly after waking up. That way all my most necessary vitals and info is taken during the times I most want it.-waterproof; haven’t tested aside from me being swampy sweaty at work. All functions and readings were still accurate and I religiously clean the back of the watch after each daily use prior to charging.-price; Apple Watches used to be so much more expensive than they are now. I’d say for the $300ish price range this thing has exceeded all of my expectations and was well worth the price. I highly recommend.-accessory accessibility; fantastic. Way more options scattered around the internet and locally for accessories I want at a fair price. Was able to purchase a face cover protector and smaller/waterproof/breathable wristbands without any issue or financial loss.-Reading accuracy; not sure how accurate the blood oxygen levels are in comparison to a professional health grade one, but it’s nice to see a general normal reading vs jumps. Most of the time my normals are consistent as well as the jumps so as a basis for concern I can utilize the Apple normals and if anything is out of the regular readings I’d be confident that something would actually be wrong and take myself to a hospital.Curious to compare this once I get a health grade level reader.-multiple grades of rest/active readings make stuff slightly confusing but is still really cool how everything is broken down.Ultimately if you’re thinking about this and can afford it, I’d highly recommend. Took near no time to get used to the differences from Fitbit and general watch setup was painless with the exception of me trying to delete and exclude as much unnecessary apps or notifications as possible through my own personal preferences lol.Ver másVer menos
