Great assortment! 16 year old girl thrilled with gift.
Bought this as part of my stepdaughter's gifts at Christmas (age 16). She's always been obsessed with makeup and skincare trends, but she didn't trust her Dad to know what product ingredients are important to not just her but for the types of results various ingredients are known to do over long-term use. He didn't feel comfortable attempting to choose the majority of her gifts since, well, he's a middle aged man... She is also extremely picky (aren't all teenage girls especially these days?) and she finds e.l.f products have been an Earth and health conscientious brand that works for her teenage hormonal skin just as they were effective when she was just getting interested in proper skincare routines as a younger girl, before we allowed her to wear makeup outside of special events or the house. SlShe may use a lot more varieties of items with her changing skin nowadays, sure, but she still loves this brand. I also like the brand for a couple of different items incorporated into my collection of skincare items.So, when I found this set, I thought it was a perfect "travel size, one for all possible needs" at a great price point. She's quite often traveling with her other Mom to a variety of places, whether for holidays or her Mom's work, and we all know airlines... she can't take her full sized products on aircraft due to the limitations on baggage or contents of bags, or else no doubt she'd pack enough for ten grown women's use everywhere they went.She was absolutely thrilled when she received this and happily showed them off to her Dad on a video call saying, "See, Dad? I told you Mom would know exactly what I wanted for Christmas! I needed these and she knew what I'd approve of using on my skin! Just make sure anytime YOU order something for your tired eyes or skincare, you listen to either my advice or hers before you go off and order something bad for you, again. We women know what we're talking about!" It was amusing, and she's barely near being a legal age to refer to herself as if she's a full grown woman, but she was correct about the intent of her statement.Little did she know I had been trying to get her Dad to use some various eye creams, moisturizers, and update his own skincare routines - for years now - but only just recently did he agree to let me choose what to order and has not stopped bragging about how great those feel, how impressed he is by what differences they've made, etc. Aka, he didn't realize not all brands and products even for men are the same or the best for him. So that was why, when those two regularly have their FaceTime calls, she has loudly acknowledged his dark eye circles and flaky skin had improved greatly - and his beard looked nicer, shinier, and soft enough to touch without making her itchy by contact. 😂Well, she knows now, and she's likely counting on me buying her a whole lot more of this combination of full sized products on a regular basis.I'm just glad she's happy, so he's happy, and I also won by getting a great price on a nice little set - meaning I didn't waste a bunch of money on potentially getting one or two of the products in the set separately and having her just toss them out if she wasn't a fan.One more thing - we really lucked out since the local Amazon warehouse near her Mom's house had these in stock, so she ended up receiving (and opening) this one a solid 5 days before the actual holiday, the day after I'd ordered it! Package arrived without any damages or products leaking although it can be a common issue for ANY company utilizing that method of distribution to their customers, but one which customers always blame on the original packaging styles of the "manufacturing company" instead of the logistics handling along the way and the time products have spent stacked in an Amazon warehouse facility.Great purchase for the variety of items, price paid, and for one world traveling, extremely picky, hormonal, 16 year old young lady!Ver másVer menos
