My middle-aged skin is happy!
I've got middle-aged, sensitive, acne-prone, really fair skin. So it shows absolutely everything! If I get a bit of irritation or a zit, or some dryness, everybody knows it! Light skin hides nothing well! So while I'm careful about what I put on my skin, I'm also always on the prowl for things that will help keep my skin healthy, happy, and ideally youthful too! When this bottle arrived I thought it looked a bit bigger than I expected, and sure enough, while most of my serums are around an oz, this one is 1.18 oz - so a lot more product than many other bottles. It's a generous amount. It comes with a good dropper (I do sort of wish it was a pump though - I Like those better.) and just a few drops of it covered all of my face beautifully and left it feeling quenched and hydrated. It's a thin and lightweight consistency that absorbed fully within a minute or two. I have had some serums that can leave a layer on top of the skin, which doesn't always work well when I try to apply a foundation on top of it, but this thinner texture fully absorbed in quickly, and layered under my makeup beautifully! I'd been using it for just over a week when I got carded at a store! As a middle-aged person that's always a good day! So I am happy with how it's working so far, and have made it a regular part of my skincare rotation.Ver másVer menos

Smoothing & Matte
I was really excited to try this product because my skin care routine is pretty small due to having little ones so finding good quality skin care to add into my routine has been hard due to lack of time! Also, the price of skin care has gotten crazy, I really appreciate the quality of this product without the high price! I felt like the size of the bottle was great for the price.I have been really pleased with this product! I wear very dewy foundations so I can’t have a dewy moisturizer underneath or else things slide around too much. This goes on smooth and dries really matte so you don’t have to worry about foundation mixing in and changing its consistency. I also have really sensitive skin and my skin loved this- which is so rare! Normally I flare up and react to new skin products. So if you have sensitive skin, I would definitely try this! It’s not super dewy so if you are looking for a heavy moisturizer, this is not it. It layers well under my makeup and for that I am very happy!Ver másVer menos

TERRIFIC Hydrator for Sensitive Skin
I HIGHLY recommend this for any others with sensitive or finicky skin of any kind. I am in my 40's with combo skin prone to rosacea, reactivity as well as acne so I know finicky skin well. This ampoule is something I know I can reach for without any concerns whatsoever that I can count on to deliver nice hydration and layer beautifully with other skincare, sunscreen and makeup.Despite being labeled an ampoule, this has a very watery consistency that more resembles a toner or light serum. I like to pat it into my skin and it absorbs immediately, making it easy to apply 2-3 thin layers. It offers my skin great hydration and leaves a soft, non tacky natural skin finish that feels weightless and especially perfect for current hot summer days.This is a very clean, sensitive skin friendly formula that is fragrance and irritant free. It contains nice soothers (Houttuynia Cordata Extract & Licorice Root Extract), multiple amino acids, antioxidants that are also calming (Tricholoma Matsutake Extract & Rhododendron Chrysanthum Leaf Extract), and a great blend of humectants including Saccharide Isomerate & multi weights of Hyaluronic Acid that offer the skin not only deep but multilevel hydration. It is also free of any heavy oils so great for those prone to acne and congestion.Sometimes simple is better and this is a very effective hydrating ampoule that is skin barrier supportive and one I cherish knowing I will never need to second guess its compatibility with my skin on any given day.Ver másVer menos

Fast-Absorbing Lightweight Moisture
So far I really like this ACWELL hyaluronic ampoule. A little goes a long way and it layers well under makeup without any separation issues. I have relatively sensitive skin and this hasn’t caused any irritation at all. The texture is ever so slightly thicker than my other ampoules and serums. When using the dropper to apply it to my face the drops mostly stay put and don’t go running down my face which is nice. When massaging it into the skin it does still have that same lightweight water-like feel that my other similar products do. It does absorb quickly as stated in the listing. Immediately after applying my skin did feel slightly tacky to the touch, but just a couple minutes later (enough time to change my clothes and put my hair up in a clip) it was fully absorbed and I was able to move on to the next step in my routine.The directions on the box simply state to dispense an appropriate amount and spread it evenly onto the skin which is what I’ve been doing and it’s been working fine, but the listing states to apply this three times. I think if you’re using this during your night routine that would be a great option for more hydration and that glass skin look, but for my daytime routine, simply applying once works well. The only complaint I have is minor and personal preference, the tip of this dropper is angled and I find it easier to apply these ampoules with a straight dropper, but it’s really not a big deal. gentle, hydrating serum with excellent ingredients and ZERO fragrance!
I have been using K-beauty for almost 15 years and never got around to trying ACWELL's viral licorice root toner, so I was quite happy when this serum and cream from their new line popped up on my vine feed.This is such a great serum: stellar ingredient list, no added fragrance, and quick to absorb for my stubborn skin. Because there are so many plant extracts in here, I'd advise patch testing before use unless you are familiar with all the plantsI love how hydrating it is as well as the lovely glow it leaves. It's very lightweight and comfortable (I find a lot of serums heavy/sticky), and I don't feel like it's just sitting on top of my skin. I LOVE a watery serum!I use it after I do my skinflooding routine with hydrating toners, and I find that it helps to keep my skin moisturized all day when combined with the cream from this line or any of my other moisturizers. It doesn't irritate my eczema or trigger my rosacea; in fact, my skin finds it super soothing even when my barrier is weak and distressed.This whole line makes me wish I had gotten the giant bottles of the licorice toner back when they were on sale at Costco last summer! I highly recommend it for all skintypes, as it seems very balanced and safe even for those with acne-prone or oily skin (no ferments, tocopherol, or heavy oils).Hope that helps!Ver másVer menos

Great combo of ingredients that seems to fully satisfy my Midwestern aging skin perfectly.
This is one of the nicest serums I have tried. It feels so natural going on, absorbs fully, and instantly plumps my skin. It must be the sea water and sea weed that my skin loves. I have had other serums with licorice that have been a bit intense for my skin, but this one I find so soothing and gently. The blend of ingredients just seems to be exactly what my skin was lacking. I tend to share my great finds with my daughter and sisters, but this one is all mine!!! It is a smaller quantity bottle than other brands I have tried, but none have felt so perfectly paired for my skin, so despite the quantity to cost ratio, I still find this an exceptional value. I'm using it under both my day and night creams, and absolutely loving the feel and appearance of my skin. I definitely will continue using this! I am almost 60 years old, with normal-to-oily skin. I do not have much sun exposure but do live in a climate with four full seasons and environmental changes throughout the year that cause my skin to experience hot and sweaty months, as well as cold and dry months.Ver másVer menos
